   Just bought a racket from here. Staff were very nice and had given me helpful recommendations. That said, I realised the second day when wrapping grip tape that there is a paint chip on the brand new racket frame. I am sure I didn’t cause that, so I guess that’s either a manufacturing defect or their storage issue. Not trying to be picky, but the paint chip is somewhat frustrating. So I would suggest others check their rackets carefully before purchasing.

   I bought a tennis racket for my daughter but it developed a crack on the racket head. She looked after the racket & it never hit on the floor. Although the racket was still under guarantee of 12 months they instantly dismissed the racket replacement & said the damage was down to misuse. I feel I was getting know where with their responses & am left disappointed with the whole outcome. Not at all helpful & will not be purchasing goods from this company anymore.

His patience never ran out, and once he learned that I was short on time, he went out of his way to string my racket as quickly as possible. On top of that, he generously shared his own experiences, as well as those of others around him, to help me choose the right racket. If I ever come back to Glasgow, I’d gladly buy another racket.    It has been delightful dealing with Stuart Lisk and his colleagues at String Sports. As a result of developing tennis elbow, I was looking to change my tennis racquet and contacted String Sports about testing some of their demo racquets. There are several companies in the UK that offer demo racquets, but String Sports seems to be the only one that sends dedicated demo racquets rather than new ones and, consequently, you do not fear that you will have to buy a demo racquet if you accidentally scratch it. Stuart discussed my situation and gave me advice in respect of suitable racquets. I opted for three racquets and they were posted to me when they became available. The postal fees were paid by String Sports. I tried the racquets and even asked to keep some for longer if they were available; I was allowed to do so. At the end, I returned the demo racquets with pre-paid labels provided by String Sports and then purchased one of them (a brand new Wilson one). It was Christmas time and there were some good offers around, but Stuart matched the best one. As the result of the excellent service I had received, I recommended String Sports to one of my friends who was also looking to buy a new racquet. He followed my advice and contacted Stuart. Stuart matched the best price for his Babolat racquet as well. As there was a short delay in getting the particular racquet my friend opted for, Stuart sent him a demo racquet free of charge to use while waiting for his new racquet. The service my friend and I have received from Stuart Lisk and String Sports is exemplary and I would definitely recommend them.
