I went today, Friday 1 august 2025 as I had a little issue with my bridge (violin bridge). I found a very friendly and close staff which understood my problem and fixed it in one hour. They answered all my questions about the work and their products. Stringers of Edinburgh has been recommended to me by a violinist friend which lives in Edinburgh, I am recommending it now to all the string community which needs a luthier in this area.
Freya and Kate were both extremely helpful and patient with me being a complete novice and not being sure what I was looking for. I couldn't be happier with my cello and the hire options are very reasonable - Thanks again!

I'm in love with my new violin! I'm hoping to regain part of my childhood after feeling inspired from watching TwoSet videos on YouTube. The instrument that I purchased has an incredibly rich sound to it and it's of good quality. If you're thinking of picking up a new violin, then I would recommend getting one from Stringers. The investment will be worth it. The violin was already tuned and the bridge was already placed on the instrument, so this is perfect for a beginner violinist or for someone who has no experience of tuning or setting a violin up. The violin arrived the next day and Kate quickly answered all of my inquiries. The website was also very easy to navigate. Excellent service!
