Whether you go to The Edge Coffee Shop for a quick coffee, brunch, lunch, or one of their Evening Supper Clubs, you will not be disappointed. The whole team are welcoming, friendly and attentive and the food is always good quality, beautifully presented, delicious and reasonably priced. There is nothing not to like about The Edge. This family run business have tastefully decorated it to create a very pleasant space to enjoy a catch up with friends. In the Summer months there is the beautiful garden to enjoy too. A wide and varied menu is offered, regularly updated and always a huge selection of cakes, pastries, breads and savories treats to choose from. If you've not been - do go, you won't be sorry you did!

Came here the day of the street fair with my kids. Food was good and the staff were very good. Especially Polly, she was very patient with my kids and was really helpful and friendly.

Supurb coffee and food. I had the veggi breakfast which was also gluten free. Excellent range of products (more than average on a veggi breakfast) portion size and presentation. Staff were friendly and attentive with good knowledge of gluten free options. Gluten free cakes (and all cakes/pastries) by no means exaggeration - best in the West! Good quality, fresh, tasty ingredients. Atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, just the spot to catch up with friends. Definate value for money. Would recommend and visit again!!

Nice family run café with friendly helpful staff. About the only place open today (13/05/2024) in Wotton where you could sit and eat. Our breakfasts were quite acceptable if alittle unimaginative but we didn't have to wait very long for our orders to arrive. The menu offered a good choice of lunchtime meals and the café's licensed. Everywhere was nice and clean.

Amazing place! Homemade soups, lovely cakes, good menu, friendly helpful staff & nice atmosphere. Very very popular. Parking on street is very busy for 1 hour. Large free carpark near by. Highly recommend!

The Edge is a wonderful place, for so many reasons. The coffee is always good and perfectly presented. The cakes, pastries, tarts, bread and all things baking! Are hand made and so good, you can tell how much care and skill has gone into creating amazing bakes. Everything else on the menu follows suits in a combination of lovely, locally sourced ingredients in classic and inventive meals that have never failed to impress. But above all of this, the owners Catherine and Chris and their staff carry the place with their personable and welcoming nature. Such a nice place to sit, think, drink, chat and eat. I've had great conversations with many people there now, feels like a home from home :). Always a pleasure, definitely pop in if you are in the area, or not! It will be worth the trip.

I have been going to the Edge now for about four years, I like it, the food and coffee and friendly staff. BUT, the staff need a good shake up and some training. There are usually about 4-6 youngster's working (Saturday) who spend most of their time chatting to each other behind the counter, missing opportunity's to serve customers. When you arrive you are asked to take a table and then you are completely forgotten. When your order is taken you have to pay up front, which, I was told, is because so many people leave without paying which I am not surprised at as the staff don't know who is doing what. After our coffee arrived and a further 30 minute wait we did enquire as to the progress of our lunch, again looks all round from staff untill they realised they had forgot to place the order. At this time we decided to leave but the staff were unable to process a card refund. It was bit of a disappointment all round. The staff need to be more proactive with "eyes out" to the customer areas at all times so they can better serve customers. The business must be losing money from walk outs, repeat business, and lost opportunity's for orders. With the high staff to customer ratio you would expect some fairly rapid turnover in service. Anyway still like the place so I shall return.

We stopped here for lunch after a lovely walk on the hills. We were expecting a takeaway so it was a nice surprise to be able to sit on the rear courtyard. Personally I’d put up a big sign advertising that! The courtyard was lovely, although chilly! The smell from the outdoor oven was mouth watering! My sausage sandwich was delicious with a superb malty brown bread. Excellent value and lovely service too.
