   Lackadaisical staff, didn’t listen to what I ordered and slowly served an unloved coffee which was far too hot. Shame as we live locally and won’t be returning.

   Recommended by my daughter, we popped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. Nice place to sit outside and view the passing show! Sadly, provisions were low, so choice was limited. What we did eat was ok but not amazing. The young lad who served us was nice but a bit out of his depth. Go to the loo before you visit because this one is definitely not to be recommended!

   Very cool, unpretentious place with delectable foods! It is a bit far off from the centre and the area itself is nothing special but the food more than makes up for it. The menu serves up a unique range of items, our personal favourites were the macmuffin and the green that come with a few dishes (yes really!).

   The person taking my order was friendly, helpful and the toasties was divine! The hot chocolate was delicious but more warm than hot and today was foggy cold weather that needed a HOT chocolate! Not to worry, I'm definitely going back there again, simple, delicious foods are on the menu and, as a vegetarian, I'll go back to try the other vegetarian items on that menu! Thanks for a great first experience 8E Chelsea Road Cafe!!

   Friendly service and a nice cafe to relax and people watch. Drinks were good, the food was varied, which is refreshing for a cafe, however, the food itself once served was very average.

   I really liked this place. The coffee was good, flat white as usual but impressed me most was the sourdough toast, best I've had for quite a while, loose butter not fiddly little packs and more than enough for the 4 half slices. Check out the full menu which are brunchy. Polite service with a smile.
