I come here for a coffee break from work and find the atmosphere to be friendly and relaxed. It isn't costly and the food menu looks like great value. I didn't buy food this time but they do have a very good value vegetarian option.

Good breakfast here, had the house special which was a good combo of frankfurter, bacon, poached eggs, bubble, hash brown, beans and mushrooms. Plenty of space if a bit empty.

An old fashioned British cafe / diner. Good prices and decent service. There's no music or menus and the staff aren't overly friendly but the food is good. Somewhere where you'd go for a breakfast/ brunch but not for an occasion.

Tried for the first time as was shopping nearby. Food was good. Prices were reasonable. Good social distancing measures are in place here. Cafe is clean and tidy and tables are well laid out. A good variety on the menu. Good selection of drinks. Will visit again.

WE had trouble parking near our usual venue so when we did get a space outside the House Cafe we decided to give it a try, it looked inviting, it was clean and the menu up on the wall above the counter looked reasonable. My mate isn't keen on a Full English and chose to go for the Scrambled Eggs (advertised as three eggs) and I went for a Bacon Sandwich (£3 ) with two mugs of tea it came to £10.60 which was a bit expensive but if the food is good, I don't mind paying. I try not to criticise the food in reviews but a cafe should be able to get the basics like a bacon sandwich and scrambled eggs right and on this occasion they didn't I hope our experience was just a one off and another day they will get it right. Sorry Guys, need to do better.
