They serve a must-try classic hot chocolate. The right balance of chocolate and milk. Not overly sweet nor too milky. It’s perfect after a walk in the chilly weather around lovely Bath. Tried their white ganache stuffed cookie, it was good but probably too sweet for my taste. Still a 5/5 classic hot chocolate for me.
This café is a real gem! I especially loved the classic hot chocolate — very tasty, rich, and warming. The desserts are amazing, fresh, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy, with pleasant music and comfortable seating. A perfect place to enjoy something sweet and relax for a couple of hours.
While walking through the charming town of Bath, we stumbled upon this lovely little shop. We enjoyed a rich, smooth black coffee paired with a delicious slice of carrot cake. The cake was moist, flavorful, and simply amazing—definitely a highlight of our visit. A perfect stop to recharge and take in the town’s cozy atmosphere.
Amazing place for dessert lovers most products are prepared in house and not too sweet like other places. Place is kept very clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful with choosing a product.
The most delicious frozen hot chocolate I have ever tried!! the matilda one is to die for, I am curious about the malt flavour but its always out whenever we go. The cookies are very yummy as well, we will definitely come back. As for the atmosphere of the store, it was lovely and friendly staff.
Amazing chocolate! I opted for the 100% original hot chocolate and it was the best decision I made that day! I don’t like excessively sweet things and that hot chocolate definitely wasn’t! Perfect combination with a piece of cake. The place was filled with fairy lights and pink signs. It was beautiful.
Great service, wonderful location. Enjoyed the hot chocolate with live music at Abbey square. The hot chocolate and shakes were delicious. They have vegan options as well. A must visit.
We did the chocolate making experience on Sunday morning. At £35pp it’s excellent value - takes around 1.5 hours and you get the four bars of chocolate you each make, plus a choice of any cake and any drink off the menu. The workshop is straightforward and suitable for all - you are given the melted chocolate and you then add your chosen toppings to make the bars. As for the food, the dream cake is excellent and I also had the dulce shake, which was rich and decadent. You are provided with takeaway boxes if the cake is too much to eat in one go! Thoroughly recommend this experience.
Bath is a lovely city. Mrs Potts Chocolate house made the experience even sweeter! The staff was cheerful and polite. The Dulce De Leche brownie was so heavenly! Loved the Dark 72% real hot chocolate too!
Our tour guide, Bruce from Golden Tours, led us here with his claim of the best hot chocolate in Bath. And he wasn’t lying! It was delicious! They had different percentages that a customer could order, we got 2 classics and 1 milk, and then can add a homemade marshmallow and whipped cream. Definitely add the marshmallow! And to go with our drinks we got a couple of treats. A dulce de leche brownie which was good. But then we also got the chocolate cake! Let me ask you this, have you ever read Matilda? Have you ever pictured what the cake looked and tasted like? I have! And this Matilda Chocolate Cake was the best part of the day! It was so good. So moist! So chocolately! Just the best! I will go back to Bath just for this cake. Go in, try it, enjoy it!
