DO NOT BUY THE FOLLOWING - Fischer The Curve GT76 Powerrail Men's Alpine Ski 2024/25 166cm incl RS10 bindings -30%. These are not men’s skis and are also the rental version. Completely mis advertised and didn’t even receive an apology, when emailing them for a return once they’d arrived.

I bought my first board today which had unicorns on it. The two men in the shop were very young and beautiful..I mean helpful. They answered all my questions sorted me out with bindings. I’m very happy indeed. I will be back.

I've been going to Ski 'n' Boardroom for almost 20 years and I've seen all the structural changes of the shop and it's layout. The service has always been brilliant. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and take an interest in you and your skill level. If I'm needing any gear for snowboarding, I will always visit here first and usually have my requirements met and not need to go anywhere else. I like supporting local businesses and I'm glad Al and his team are still here to visit.

Fantastic service, lads put up with loads of my questions about boards and set ups and were happy to use their invaluable experience to assist me and my brother in getting new gear for the season at a price you wouldn't even get online

Great service and friendly staff. Went in for a ski wax and my husband left with new snowboarding boots and a helmet.

Extensive range of products to choose from. I required new snowboard bindings and boots and after discussions of my requirements and trying several products I was able to get get a fully customised snowboard setup to suit my level. Service was so helpful, I also bought a new snowboard and travel bag. I will be thoroughly recommending this shop to other Scottish based snow sport friends.

Poor customer service and an unnecessary attitude. Had a number of skis & snowboards serviced here on the 11th of January. Picked my boards up and noticed a little excess wax. At the time I figured it was not the end of the world. After a week in Italy we found four experienced members of the party who had their skis/boards serviced here struggling to ride in semi-icy conditions, yet everyone else was okay. we came to the conclusion it was the edges poor performance on their equipment as they were repeatedly skidding and struggling to hold edges - confirmed once we all rotated equipment or compared an identical set of skis a group member purchased at the same time as the poor performing skis. We visited in store to highlight our issues last week hoping they could look in to our issue and find out what went wrong for future services but I was told "We did not service your board." after they noticed the large patch of wax on the tip of one board. Despite showing the receipts, the photos of the board and WhatsApp message history to my friend the day I picked the boards up highlighting the excess wax after the service, I was repeatedly told they didn't service the board as it was impossible they could have done such a poor job of one board. Over 30 minutes later I was still repeatedly being told "We wouldnt put wax there", "We are the best in scotland and have over 40 years experience" and "We did not service that" - despite all the evidence presented to them... I wouldnt mind being told the edges were fine or that we were snowboarding wrong (on our 7th season), I can also accept that one board could be serviced poorly among thousands, but the repeated insistence that they did not service our snowboard and they could not possibly have done such a poor job was insulting. Please just openly call me a liar next time. To their credit they did offer us a free service, whether this one is as good as the last only time will tell. However I do feel the refusal to admit they poorly serviced the Salomon board was insulting.
