Oh dear, gone downhill badly. Was "Waitrose", now "Tesco/Asda" :( For years I've come here while walking the dog. The sourdough cheese and kimchi toastie was delicious: bread and cheese each had a good flavour and texture. Not cheap, but very enjoyable and worth the money. No longer. Apparently in July (ish) the management company changed. On the first day there wasn't as much cheese, the bread wasn't as good, and they had added BBQ sauce of all things! Yes, that was as unpleasant as it sounds. On the second day they couldn't omit the BBQ sauce since it was spread on earlier in the morning (fits with what I ate previously). I chose the soup and sourdough instead. The soup was OK but nothing special. The sourdough really didn't seem to be sourdough: no flavour, and the texture of supermarket white bread. And to cap it, the price had increased. I would happily pay the new price for the old food, but definitely not for the new food. In future I'll make my own sandwich and eat outside.

Recently rebranded/changed management. Menu pretty much the same as before including prices despite portion sizes halved and ingredient quality significantly reduced. Came for lunch today as we rave about the food here (worth the high price point), but was very disappointed with what arrived at our table. Huge shame as this was a regular for us. To be reasonable, the food is still okay but not worth the price anymore.

Lovely surroundings, nice staff and fast service BUT ridiculous prices. Wanting a cold drink I chose the apple and pear juice, Β£2.95 - I expected a bottle, no - it was a tiny 200ml kids carton. Nearly Β£9 for the house salad which was a large amount of rocket with a few slices of sundried tomato. Unfortunately we just felt 'ripped off' and though we would visit the Estate again, we would take a picnic.

We walked to Ashton Court via the Clifton Suspension bridge. After the morning stroll, a gorgeous breakfast awaited. The cafe was more crowded than usual because of the Saturday morning’s 5km run. The queue moved smoothly along and we did not have to wait too long for our food. We had the sourdough toasties - cheddar & plum tomatoes and pastrami; mushrooms on toast and avocado on toast. All were superb! A hearty and sumptuous breakfast indeed.

Absolutely smashing lunch after a little gander round the estate. Affordable, made fresh, and very tasty. Superb day out.

The Court Yard Cafe housed in the old Stables at Ashton Court has seating outside and in the stables. It is a pleasant rustic space with atmosphere. One window over looks part of the garden. It can get quite busy. It is a dog friendly space.

A great cafe with the best vegan carrot cake I've had! It's at a beautiful location, the coffee is great and the staff are all friendly, so couldn't ask for more!

Delicious food and environment! Not every staff member wearing a mask though. Great service, nice grounds.
