Its hard to tell you what we think of the food... since we couldnt even order for 1 hour. You had 4 persons serving the drinks, yet no food was able to be ordered. Locals sat down and could eat instantly yet we as tourist did not. I would recomend going to robbie's plaice. Far better service and you can instantly order and get good food.
Fantastic meal in a lovey traditional pub. Enjoyed great drinks and generous portions in a welcoming atmosphere. Will look forward to returning!
I've come to the Fox and Hounds in Colerne a handful of times, always a pleasant stop. Good clean lager (Stella or Kronenbourg 1664), friendly staff and patrons. They've a couple of TV screens and show most sports, be that football, rugby or even the Grand Prix. They serve food but I've not tasted any, but looks great. I visited on a Saturday lunch time and the pub was moderately busy with a full room of customers sat down for eating and then some regulars at the bar. There is parking here, even for a van, there is no on street parking nearby.
Great pub, lovely home cook food, dog friendly, couldn’t have made us feel more well, we had a couple of meals in the evening, all round, excellent. Will recommend.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch with my extended family. Great choice of food and beer. Beautiful village setting and beer garden (if the weather was better).

Food and staff are amazing. Compliments to the chef.we had been in the area cycling for a few days. Sat in the beer garden and ate in the evening sunshine. Fully recommend this place. Price was extremely good for the style and food.
Friendly staff and punters. Parking was awkward as they had film crews taking up the car park when I visited, but I assume this is not a normal thing. However the food was very good and the portion size was very generous. I had a burger and it was superb.
