    Very good food and accomodating pleasant staff. Cosy surroundings in a pretty village. BOGOF deal is good but only covers pairs of meals.

    Had a birthday lunch here as previously we have had good food and service , unfortunately today the food was a very poor quality we chose a chicken pie and a curry not very nice at all .

    Very warm and welcoming place and the staff were lovely. Food at the top end of standard pub fayre and very reasonably priced. Will be very happy to eat here again and a definite recommend.

    Proper pub. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the pub does some really good food. Between 5-7 it's buy one get one free on certain dishes which means it's even more affordable to pop out for some nice grub. The pub has a big garden too and welcomed dogs which is great. I'll definitely be going back.

    Such a nice little pub! Friendly and attentive service, top quality food and decent prices too! And its an independent! That should be enough on its own for you to give them your custom! And they were really dog friendly, Ezra had as good a time as us.. Would recommend.

    an excellent local eatery - my wife Emily and I have visited many times - always really good food at an excellent price too! Today (24th October 2022) is our 58th wedding anniversary so we went there for lunch- I had the lovely steak and ale pie and Emily had a baked potato ciabatta .... both enjoyed thoroughly.
