Nice pub, friendly staff. Lovely little garden area at the back. Only went in for a quick drink and it was mid-week so can't comment on the food/atmosphere. We were the only ones in there
Italian @ Pensford is some of the best Italian food I've ever had. My family ordered lasagne, pizza, calamari, carbonara and a prawn rice dish. The calamari was light and cooked to perfection, we all enjoyed our meals and some fantastic service, will not hesitate to return!
Brilliant pub, infact my favourite in the Valley. Amazing Pizzas. Pool tables dart board plenty of seating. Recently £4 a pint when the rugby was on. Good selection of beers and ciders. Cheddar valley on tap!
Love this old pub, the staff are friendly. The pizzas are lush. Pub garden is beautiful when weather permits. Dog friendly and they do live music with a difference. Lovely place to eat and relax.
Lovely little pub in Pensford, we had a day trip with my BF and we found this little gem. The bar staff were very friendly and lovely. The food was amazing and very good price, good size portions. Good seating area with chilled vibes and if you want some entertainment you can play some darts while meeting some great local people who can tell you more about the village itself. Very nice experience and good location too.

If you’re looking for a lovely welcoming atmosphere, with a sunny beer garden and well priced drink - this is the place. Lovely walks around and from the village, with The G&D perched upon the hill.
We loved it. We weren't local but had a friendly welcome and great drinks. Would definitely come again.
Good beer, friendly service, real fire inside, pleasant courtyard outside, what else do you need.
