Delicious home cooking Sunday roast. They asked what veg you would like which is a good idea. You get the meal you want and it prevents wastage - wish more places did this! Very friendly service. A decent pub with personality and character
The Packhorse is a lovely pub with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly locals, and polite staff. I played free pool on Tuesday with the bar lady’s son (I believe I heard “mom”), who was also very polite, adding to the great experience. The drinks are well-priced, making it an excellent spot for a relaxed night out. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Bristol.
Only started going back in here recently after many many years away. Pleased to report that THANKFULLY it hasn't really changed a great deal over the years. Still great staff and friendly customers with a fantastic atmosphere and with a huge raised decked area out the back (if it ain't broke don't try to fix it)!!!. Reasonable prices and the Sunday roast is excellent value. Thoroughly recommended.

Biker pub, only ever been for a tekno night in the basement which was banging. Cheap beers and good fun
