   One of the best pubs in Bristol hands down. The atmosphere with the music alone is outstanding. Great selection of drinks to choose from, a good selection of games to play while enjoying drinks and music and a nice seating area to just enjoy and vibe.

   Roger was a consummate host when myself and a few Poles (visiting from Poland) popped in one Sunday. During a 3 day visit to Bristol we visited 12 pubs (research you see;) and The Jolly Roger was our favourite. Really lovely clientele, great tunes and Roger who intuitively picked up that 2 of our party had never had a conversation with a black person. Thank you for making our road trip to Bristol so memorable. Michael, Ola, Beata and Piotrek:)

   Friendly landlord with a great selection of alcoholic drinks. Jolly Roger is always helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel happy with your drinks selection. The free Sunday dinner is a added bonus but timings on this can be random. Summer bbq'sare great and everyone comes together with food and music. The Jolly Roger is great to socialise with family or friends as the landlord goes way beyond to make your experience a very enjoyable one. Love it here.
