   We had a lovely server called Emmi. My husband is gf and she was very helpful and knowledgeable about what he could eat. She presented us with a non gluten menu. The food was lovely both the gf burger my husband ordered and my festive toastie. Many thanks to all the staff. It’s a shame we were only visiting for the day otherwise we would certainly use you again and again

   Don't come into town too often, but when I do The Bay Horse is a good watering hole to visit before going on my journey home outside of the city. When I have eaten there the food has been good and the Rioja is a good choice to go with it. Staff always welcoming, cheerful and helpful - a bonus for a city centre pub. Will continue to use it when in town.

   Had a fantastic time at the bay horse great food but it was the service that made the whole experience so enjoyable all the staff were so attentive and very knowledgeable about all the products they sold be it drinks or food. Special shout out to Summer and Emmi for going above and beyond to make not only our table but everyone in the pub feel so welcomed and looked after would add extra stars if I could highly recommend and will be back soon

   Watched the England vs New Zealand game and had the best time ! Crisp fresh ciders and the bar staff were Lovely. So glad I chose the chicken wings they were great value and tasty. Will definitely be back for more sport, food and good beer

   We had a great time at the Bay Horse today. The lovely lady behind the bar was so helpful in sorting out my daughter’s meal as she has allergies. It suddenly became quite busy and she was so calm and served everyone with a smile. After I’d sat down she came over just to confirm extra info about the allergens. We enjoyed our food and drinks!

   Busy. Staff were great. The chicken wings tasted like a pot noodle. Which was weird as I have not eaten one in 5years. Had to ask every time for my guinness to be topped up as they forgot. Packed during after work hours. But dead by 9pm.... May be due to the england game. Pretty good overall

   We popped in for a late night drink so it was not very busy. They had a few board games that we played. Service was nice and friendly and the pub was clean and tidy.

   A fantastic pub, offering a great range of beverages and food. Both food and drink were prepared to a great standard here and the staff showed exemplary customer service. The pub was consistently clean and is a great environment with board games and TVs scattered around. I came here on a Saturday and despite this, it was surprisingly not too busy. There was plenty of seating and the noise was just right.

   Had great food and customer service. I had the steak pie which was great. Passed the veg to the wife who had a different pie. The service was quick and efficient and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Additionally was able to use the BlueLightCard to further reduce the cost. Great selection of drinks wife especially liked the raspberry cider.
