Great pub , full of character and history .traditional friendly landlord . Used this pub back in the 70's when l lived locally , now live out of the area but make a point of visiting a couple of times a year. , unique , best pub in Westbury , and definitely worth a visit .
After multiple attempts to tell the truth about this mysogynist/sexist pub, (always taken down by Google.) Perhaps if I just say ( better pubs elsewhere)
Good local pub with a lovely atmosphere. Reasonable but not the best selection of draught pints. I didn't have food so I can't comment on this. I would recommend visiting for a pint, and would recommend to a friend.
Great atmospheric, friendly pub. Excellent selection of real ales along with a good range of lager, ciders, wine and spirits. Good home made pub rolls with various fillings.
Loving this classic British Pub on Westbury Hill which used to be a stop for the mail coach in the 18th Century and still has the atmosphere from those times. You can get a great pint of local ale, a sandwich and bag of crisps along with a ton of local atmosphere.
Great pubs like this are beginning to get hard to find. Great atmosphere, great beer and top notch service. Always welcoming and always a pleasure to be in.
Very nice Butty Bach. Very, very nice! Apart from that it's a pleasant comfortable pub. Can't comment on the food as we didn't have any. Best described as a very decent local.
The owner was fantastic! He lit a fire for us in the lower section of the pub while we played darts. Great place to watch the world cup with locals. Also, easy to park around Westbury in the evenings.
Great pub. My husband and his best friend drink here when they get together. When I pick him up at the end of the evening, I get a lovely cup of coffee. But that's not the only reason I enjoy it. Just a great all round pub.
