Imagine it may normally be a good venue, nice atmosphere and service. Great beer selection, but no GF options, so I went for mulled cider - I really do not recommend it! Was undrinkable, and I'm not sure how you get a mulled cider so wrong...I think they must have used old cider that had gone really bad and it was reheated on order.

Had a real fun and fascinating whisky & beer + meal evening . Eight of us were greeted, taught and hosted by Lucas who was a lovely guy . He enabled a very enjoyable party-like time for all.

Really impressed! The front-of-house team were genuinely lovely. A friendly gentleman at the bar welcomed us and showed us straight to our well-reserved table. Ami and Vilte were incredibly warm and welcoming, both with big smiles on their faces. Ami took her time walking us through the menuβsince we were using a voucher, there were a few limitations, but she explained everything calmly and helpfully. Vilte served our food and kept checking in to see how we were doing. At one point, she saw us taking a selfie and immediately offered to take a photo for usβsuch a thoughtful gesture. The food came out quickly. The pork belly was beautifully soft and tender, and the gravy had just the right balanceβnot too sweet. Each plate looked like a piece of art, with flavours that worked perfectly together. I also noticed a table with a dog, and without being asked, Ami brought over a water bowl straight away. That kind of attention to detail really stood out. A solid 10/10 for both food and service. Highly recommended!

Beer masterclass with Vilte was excellent. Learned loads and got to sample some tasty beers, with a meal afterwards what's not to like! Great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday!

Great selection of beers - many brewed on premise. American style brew house with wings, burgers, chicken and sandwiches for food. Good for lunch, drinks or dinner!

Love this place. Cozy and warm atmosphere. Family friendly too. Very knowledgeable staff at the bar who clearly gave us info on the differences of the ales and helped us make good choices too. Love the drinks and food (very filling, lightly battered fish and chips). Friendly staff overall. Had a very pleasant experience.

This pub has a deservedly excellent reputation. They offer a superb collection of locally and house-brewed beer, as well as cracking pub grub. It's also quite simply a nice place to be. There's a glowing warmth to it, and it's a perfect spot to relax with friends over a pint and a an assortment of battered snacks
