We had been for just a few starters we had Alanna served us and she was amazing she had been full of energy and was happy to be with us! She was a super star, she gave us great service we even came back for customer service and kareoke was amazing that emma was hosting!
Had some food in the drawbridge, it was the most amazing atmosphere and the staff were amazing I had anny delivering my food she had been making sure we had everything and Emma had been so welcoming! We had came back for some karaoke later in the evening and it brung us all so much joy! Highly recommend.
Came in with my partner for a quick bite to eat for lunch. The food was lively and I like how they chose what gin to have with my meal. The staff were very attentive and I thought the pub was beautifully decorated. I will be back for sure
Really great Pub. Good selection of beers etc. Food is great and reasonably priced. Has a good vibe in evenings. Lots of TVs to watch sport
Stopped in for a bite to eat with the kids as we are travelling from Australia. Wasn’t sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. We had some delicious starters which filled us up so much that we struggled with our mains! I had the fish and it was so fresh and crispy; hubby had the pie which was delish. Kids had nuggets but they filled up too much prior too! I hated leaving behind food so hopefully this review just goes to show what a great portion you get. Such a beautiful building too. It started to get busy as we were leaving so I could see what a fun atmosphere it would have when busier!
Great food, great service! We booked a table here and it was just as well as the pub was very busy. However, the staff were absolutely brilliant, they went out of their way to make sure everything was OK for us, they were super friendly and very helpful. The food was great too and big portions, which went down very well with all of our group. We will definitely book again to eat and drink here again.
Staff are incompetent . I ordered a coffee I asked for sugar 3 mins later I got sugar no spoon I asked for a spoon 3 more minutes I get a spoon and my coffee is cold. Hardly any staff working for a city centre pub there should be more than 2 people behind the bar. They don't calm rowdy customers I wish I never came in here. I'm only staying cos I ordered a sandwich n I'm not expecting much from that after the service I have received so far and there were only me and one other at the bar when I ordered and they still took ages so my sandwich comes after 25 mins and 1 on the wrong bread 2. I ordered a bacon and chicken sandwich most of it was mayo and onion I will never come back here again this place used to be so good now it's a shambles
Very nice ambiance and fabulous interior. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. We stopped for lunch and had IPA beer (wonderful), chicken & mushroom pie (good) and a sandwich with side salad (average). Overall a good food pub and would come here again.
