    This weekend I went to into the woods festival with two of my mates was having a bit of food when I realised I couldn’t check in until 2pm a huge mistake on my behalf and I called the hotel in distress they kindly allowed me to drop my stuff off and have a showe 2 and a half hours before I was meant to arrive with no extra charge the room was perfect for the three of us and no noise distribution. I rarely leave reviews but this is one of the kindest encounters I have ever had and would like to thank everyone at the kings head couldn’t recommend enough hopefully will see you again next year! Unfortunately I am not able to leave a review for my room on booking.com so had to do it here.

    Was a lovely room , brilliant location, friendly land lady. Was spotless and very large. It could do with a fridge as I bought milk and went off in warm weather. Also there was a toaster and microwave but could do with more kitchen equipment as I'd have bought eggs ect at Poundland opposite

    Honestly? Rough as it gets for Chepstow. Cost a tenner to enter, full body search plus contents of wallet etc. 2 pints for £11.99 is a rip off and the atmosphere/music taste is to be desired. Could be an amazing pub/club, but right now, it's lacking.

    Do not recommend the accomodation at all. Very noisy karaoke and disco on the ground floor until 2am. Toilet and bathroom are on the corridor's end, toilet seat is wonky. Non existing customer service, landlord is very rude.

    Good place, stayed for 2 nights in the large room. Good lager and well priced, friendly and helpful bar staff. Toilet, bath, shower and rooms were to an excellent standard. Only annoyance was the side door with code got stuck when I returned late. Also, the door handle to my room was loose, not a massive issue as I tightened it but I did ask for a screw driver and didn't get one to sort the issue. There was music going on until closing time. I was in my bed and I hear NOTHING! It was great! 100% would book again.

    A decent selection of beers and ciders. Ample room and friendly enough. The decor could use some work, and a wider selection of ales - if not on tap, then in bottles - would be nice. Centrally located to the town, though,which is nice.

    Staff - rude - too young to be behind a bar with such a bad attitude / customer service We asked for 2 pints of Stella - but it was served in a NON STELLA glass - yes this does make a difference. Our Stella went flat - wrong glass Asked the young lad for a Stella glass only to be told that i had to be grateful it was in a glass - and he didn't have any Stella glasses - as they were dirty - DISGUSTING RUDE ATTITUDE
