Lovely atmosphere in the bar and beautiful Christmas lighting! We were served by Chris who made an amazing pizza for us. He gave us a great laugh at the bar and made us feel very welcome and comfortable

I organised a group visit for beer school from 6 until 8pm . Our host was courteous and very knowledgeable Unfortunately our experience was spoiled by too much noise from people and music in the pub, which made it difficult to hear the presentation. Suggest holding these events when the pub is not so busy.

Lovely bar staff! Place is incredibly inviting with the warm hues, namely those wonderful browns of the wood and then the orange incandescent light bulbs - very picturesque! Food was wonderful, the pizza is made with an actual pizza oven so the bottom of it is dry and the top still has its moisture, absolutely amazing. Prices are incredibly reasonable, students get a discount!

Good selection of beer as usual. The food portion is huge. Situated in a very good location.

Brilliant staff in a old school BD, so the perfect wee place to enjoy some cracking beers. Great recommendations for other craft ale opportunities locally too. Thoroughly recommend

Great beer! A bit small so can get crowded at times. They don’t do their full food menu, only pizzas. You’ll have to go to the bigger harbour side Brewdog for the full food menu. The pizza is good though if that’s what you’re looking for!

Always a fave stop off for a pint or two on our Bristol visits. Great selection of takeout beers too! They’re Doggy friendly and the pizzas are welcomed addition for a beer nibble!

Be prepared spoiled by the choice of beer that is available on tab, cans and bottles! It's like walking into Alice-in-Wonderland experience and hearing "drink me" form the labels you read thought choosing a drink. Don't stop with just one drink: I like to go for light and dark been (whichever way round you prefer) and only recently tried their food and it is lush! OK, menu is limited but don't be fooled and think "it's just pizza and boards" - it is GORGEOUS! I am a huge fan of quality pizza and this did not dissapoint. Also, staff is very knowledgeable and easy to chat too. Enjoy! Relax! Cheers!
