Turned up on Sunday without a booking, but they managed to squeeze us in. Really friendly staff and great food. All really impressed and just what we needed. Will be back next time we're near Weston

Been twice and is genuinely the best meal I’ve ever had out. Thought it was a fluke first time but was just as good the second time. Wife agreed and she moans at everything. Very reasonable. Staff were incredible. Can’t recommend enough.

Absolutely spot on! The food was outstanding and reasonably priced, the staff and service was on point . Very comfortable and cosy sitting indoors /outdoors areas and with a games room Allowed dogs and let us stay on premises overnight in our motorhome upon booking. Definitely be returning and recommend!

Went on Sunday for their roast dinner(other options also available)we booked a table in advance as their were 5 of us. I'm glad we did. We arrived at 12.30pm and it was already busy and lots of tables booked. The staff service was good and you order at the bar. We all had a roast in some form (over 60 is £12 about £16 otherwise). Well I have to say I was impressed. I had a small one which came with 2 slices of thick turkey seasonal veg nicely done roastys, stuffing, Yorkshire and ample gravy. Plus a portion of cauliflower cheese and it all tasted wonderful. Staff service was good and they offered all the comps to accompany the meal and were friendly too. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful pub which is very popular with the locals so can get very busy at peak times. We had booked a table for Saturday night and unfortunately it wasn't in the diary when we arrived. However; no problem, the staff soon fund us a table and slotted us in. Nice selection of very tasty food on the menu. Good service and reasonable prices. The tables & menus could do with a better clean as everything was very sticky, but this was my only gripe in an otherwise great visit. This pub is family friendly, dog friendly, has disabled access in parts of the pub. Indoor and lots of outdoor seating. Covered areas outside incase it rains. Comfy chairs by the fire and even a large room that you can book for events. Parking available for a large number of vehicles. I will definitely recommend it to others and visit again.

This is a great place for eating - we've been here before (from Southampton!!) and may well visit again, even though we live so far away. The service is attentive and it's a lovely relaxed pub atmosphere. The staff look after their customers and will be alert to any individual requirements you might have, for example relating to access or whatever. I feel a bit mean giving four stars for the food; it's good value but some of it was over-cooked (couldn't eat the Yorkshire pud, for example). But it is delicious.

I have been recommended this pub by a few people now so thought I would give it a go for a Sunday lunch. I was certainly not disappointed. The food was great and good value for money. The service and atmosphere was spot on. All the staff seems happy to be there and very helpful. I will be going back

This place is just brilliant! We stopped in because we had heard that you could park a campervan in the car park as long as you used the pub facilities. We need to find a place to stay at the last minute so we called them to confirm and we dealt with a really friendly guy on the telephone who asked that we just bought a couple of drinks. When we arrived at the pub we were again greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff, they were just lovely! Well done guys 10/10! We were abit gutted we had had our dinner elsewhere because the food menu looked great. You should definitely give it a go if you’ve never been before!
