We Recently had our 1987 2CV Dolly rebuilt by The 2CV shop and I can honestly say, after having had classic cars and having dealt with classic car suppliers for more years than I care to remember, The 2CV shop provided us with the best experience possible. Darren and his team have done a first class job in supplying a concours vehicle. The components they used are top notch and the communication from Gemma was excellent; providing us with timely updates as to how the car was progressing. If you're thinking of having your classic Citroen rebuilt or even refreshed, there really is only one place that we would recommend......The 2CV Shop every time.
Great experience with everyone at the 2cv Shop. I have just collected my 2cv Bamboo after some restorative work and I can’t praise them all enough. After sound advice the work was completed within the agreed time and budget. Bonnet, wing front NS and rear doors repaired or replaced and sprayed - all now fit perfectly and excellent colour match. I can’t rate these guys highly enough.. I took delivery of my first 2CV a fortnight ago, I’d waited for over 30 years to own one.. The car has been through a total restoration having been off the road for 18 years, their attention to detail knows no bounds and delivered me the closest to a new 2CV that I could have wished for, they’ve kept me updated throughout the build with photos and updates and offered sound advice and suggestions. Have serviced and repaired my two 2cv's in an efficient and very friendly way over the past few years. Sadly I have now sold the one they rebuilt for me (needed to down-size number of cars), but got excellent price thanks to the standard of their work.
Won't ever go back. Brought my car for servicing. It took 5 weeks! During this time I chased many times for an update and idea on cost and what was being done... They never replied until they sent me a bill for 840 quid. They just went ahead without checking with me first. Borderline dishonest practice.
