Plenty of parking. Busy place with traffic coming and going, not letting people out of junctions nor giving way on roundabout. Staff in store blocking aisle constantly and yapping to their pals. Only 1 till working that takes cash, a good 20 tills taking card payment only though!!!

Usually shop here as it’s within walking distance, it’s just turned into such a bad shopping 'experience'. The shop’s too small for the area — even at “quiet” times it feels cramped, you've got the usual dodgems experience with fellow customers but now you've got it with stock cages and staff picking orders constantly blocking sections. most staff are fine, but a few seem to live in their own world and refuse to move cages/pick carts when it's blocking a section you want to get to. (there's one guy who's just plain hostile) self-checkouts are jammed together and the security alarms go off all the time, feels like a fight to get staff attention to get anything sorted. shelves are often empty, feel like I should be due a wage for the amount of empty fruit/veg trays I have to shift to get to the full ones below. If you go early morning or later evening it can be fine, if you need to go during the day then prepare for battle.

My husband and I visited this store for the first time today. As with any Extra store the range of goods on offer here is large. The clothing section is extensive and holds something for anyone. We also visited the cafe in the store, it was clean, with nice food on offer at a very reasonable price and the staff were helpful and friendly. Having done a brief clothes and food shop, we went to pay and were served by a lovely lady cashier. Very friendly, very helpful, the way I'd like to be served all the time. The only disappointment about this Extra store is the car park seems pretty limited. I believe a McDonalds was constructed in the car park not long ago, which does detract from visiting the store. I'm giving the majority of the above four stars based on the good service we received from the staff today.

Everytime I shop here on a Sunday I tell myself afterwards I need to go elsewhere. There was absolutely no salad items, vegetables, apart from some red onions, the choice and availability of everyday items is dire. Time to put my money somewhere else.

After 1800 you can not find any more fresh baked products, whatever was done when gone you're out of it till next day. Not the most suitable time to stop a production, half of the city yet to leave their jobs and get to the supermarket to get empty shelves... there's no more butcher options, only tray or baggage meats. Not the best repositioning supermarket, walking along lot of empty shelves, lots of fruits/ vegetables gone with no more repositioning, meat as well. You would expect empty space after 2000 o'clock or later but you will find it on early hours.

Go elsewhere. Parking spaces been taken over by trolley bays and trees. No hot deli section anymore. Staff weren’t very helpful. 2 tills open out of the 4/5 that was left. Self scan replaced rest of tills. Shocking for people who have trolleys and also elderly and disabled. Not everyone knows how to use self scan and enjoys using it. There’s only a few tills left so i advise you do your Xmas food shopping elsewhere as by the time you get served your Turkey will defrost. Shops empty, the fridges aren’t working yet either. Could go on and on but advise anyone to avoid.

Absolutely horrendous service. Trying to pay for several items of homeware with Clubcard vouchers, which should not be a difficult process or create any major hassle for anyone involved, but not on this occasion. The member of staff serving us had absolutely no idea how to handle vouchers, and given how prevalent they are in Tesco with their whole Clubcard scheme, is rather poor. The member of staff who came to help eventually got them through but there had been a mistake somewhere along this process where vouchers were not scanned and it turned out we were due them money? How this happens I do not know, but after being passed off to customer services so they could grab their £6 back, the member of staff there had no idea what to do either. Their solution was to try and rescan the entire basket of plates and cups and other delicate items, wasting a tremendous amount of everyone’s time and leaving an utterly foul taste in everyone’s mouth, absolutely nothing good came out of this interaction and the overall quality and effectiveness of the staff training and attitude left a lot to be desired. How utterly unimpressive.

Great selection of goods in this store, there are customer toilets and a cafe too. Definitely can do a full shop here. It got a bit annoying with the assistants green trolleys, too many of them blocking the isles.
