I had to have part of my exhaust replaced here. It was an expensive job, but the mechanic took the trouble to put my car on the lift and show me what he had done and explain why it was necessary - which I appreciated, because otherwise I would have had no idea why the job had cost what it did.
This garage is brilliant - not only did they fit in a last minute MOT for me, they made a repair to my exhaust which saved me potentially hundreds of pounds. Efficient and lovely customer service, would highly recommend this hidden gem in Bath.
Booked my car in for an MOT and some minor repairs. My battery was a bit flat so they offered to take the car a day earlier and put it on charge overnight for me. All works carried out as agreed and follow up communications were fine. These guys have delivered fully to my satisfaction. Will definitely use them next time.
Not as competent or as honest as I'd like them to be. Booked my car in to fix a unretracting seatbelt and an MOT. They then failed the MOT and told me it needed a complete new belt retracting mechanism due to a broken spring - and that they couldn't fix it for another 10 days during which i won't be legal to use the car. The new parts and labour was going to cost me £320 plus car hire for 10 days. After a quick look myself I found the only fault was that the belt was folded behind the slot and that the spring was fine. Their explanation was a 'mis-communication' between their staff. It was either dishonesty or poor communication, either way i can't now trust them to do a good job.
Brought my car to them after it had been sat unused during a cold snap and needed the handbrake/gears looking at. Other than oiling some parts they seemed reluctant to suggest the replacement of any parts or be able to provide a quote for this work, despite my insistence. Downplaying the condition of the car they let me drive away without a working reverse gear and barely working brakes. They seemed out of their depth beyond basic services; the owner(?) was vague/confused and unable to give me clear information or advice. Absolute waste of time.
Rang today to get my car in for an MOT. The garage could not be more helpful, friendly and professional … all completed to a high standard would definitely recommend and will be using again
This garage provides first-class servjce. I visited them yesterday with a difficult problem which required the car to go up on the ramp. It was examined thoroughly and a full report was given to me. They charged a minimum fee for doing this. I would recommend Henrietta Mews Garage very highly.
Visited today, lovely lady and gentleman helped me. Very grateful to them both for there kindness & helpfulness. Truly changed what was a really stressful day & situation, to a resolved unstressed afternoon & left me happy. Thank you again for being super kind, genuine, lovely people.
This is a great garage. My first time here, very last minute / damsel in distress. The team were very friendly, professional and gave a great first impression.
