   Great place to stay. The room was very nice and met our needs. The owners were always present, friendly, and helpful. Location was great just a short ride from all the attractions. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

   Lovely hosts, helpful with earlier check-in and we had fun chitchat upon arrival. The acommodation is fairly close to a Skylink 200 bus stop, so if you need early departure to catch your flight and don´t want to spend too much money on taxi, this acommodation is great option. Plenty of restaurants around. The complimentary shortbreads in the room are nice touch :)

   A very nice place in a quiet neighborhood City center is less than 20 minutes away on foot Buses and restaurants are just around the corner The owners couldn't be any nicer I recommend that place for visit in Edinburgh

   We enjoyed our time at Falcon Crest Guest House. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, the room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great with a large selection and more food than we could eat. We'd come back again.

   Awful and hostile service, with what I suspect to be a bit of a racist bone. My mother was coming all the way from London to stay at this place for one night. Her train was an hour delayed on the track because of a fault during the journey, making a train journey that is normally 5 hours be 6 hours. She is a doctor and came straight after work too and thus was arriving quite late. Falcon Crest guest house took this as a heavy stick to beat her with. They rang her up when she was on the train and threatened to not let her in since she was arriving so late, despite payment having already been made. Upon checking in that night, when she asked if she could add the breakfast option for the next morning, she got nothing but a blunt and aggressive “no” because she arrived late that night, leaving her starving in a new place on a Sunday morning. They failed to see that this guest, a 65-year old lady was coming all the way from London and for a reason that was completely out of her hands, her late train, they treated her inhumanly. Please avoid this place, I am making an official complaint to Edinburgh council about them, they should not be allowed to operate.
