We always find something in aetla that we want as they have a really unique selection. We found our engagement and wedding rings, and personalised them too with the help of Sorcha, Gemma and the rest of their super friendly and helpful team. It's a beautiful shop and always nice to pop in on the weekends.
Earlier this year I bought a a basalt and silver pendant by Turið Nolsøe Mohr from Aetla for my wife’s birthday. I found it online - after a lot of searching for something special. I’d never been to Aetla before even though it is only 10 minutes from where I work ! The shop is really nice. Gemma and Sorcha were lovely, really helpful and very patient. Most importantly my wife loved the piece. It’s beautiful and quite unusual. She has received so many compliments when wearing this. Can’t recommend Aetla more highly. A great wee place. We bought my engagement ring from Aetla while visiting Edinburgh earlier this year and couldn’t have had a better experience. I was drawn to them for their values, supporting independent jewellers and prioritising sustainability with recycled and ethical materials, and they really lived up to it. Keira was so kind and encouraging, making the whole process relaxed and enjoyable. The team even went out of their way afterwards to organise resizing and collection in London which was such a help. A few months on I couldn’t be happier with the ring or the service. Highly recommend!
Keira and the team helped design me a beautiful, fully bespoke wedding band!! Without the knowledge and can do attitude that ætla have, this wouldn't have been possible. They managed to turn it all around under such tight timescales, and made every step of the process so enjoyable. I couldn't recommend them any more, the shop is such a pleasure to visit and you'll always be met with a friendly face too. Keira and her team are so friendly and knowledgeable, Aetla is a beautifully curated space full of the most incredible and unique pieces of heirloom jewellery. Have visited several times, always made welcome...the trunk shows are so exciting, great to to get to meet the designers/jewellers and chat about their work and bespoke pieces.
