   I came to Evolve as a nervous patient after years of hating going to the dentist because of the pain and discomfort I would experience every time. Richard changed all of that. He is personable, courteous and kind, and never too busy to take the time to talk things through in as much detail as I want. I’ve learnt so much about my personal dental health from him - things that no dentist has ever pointed out to me before. The treatments I’ve had with Richard have been completely pain free and my nerves about going to the dentist have now disappeared. The whole experience of going to Evolve is fantastic, from as soon as you step in the door. The reception staff and treatment coordinators are always lovely. I’m so glad I chose Evolve and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new dentist.

   I went into surgery after an accident and the lady on reception was so kind and booked me to be seen very quickly by Dr Ford, my mouth was very swollen and painful but he was so gentle looking to see what had happened, treatment was explained and then time was made that day for it to get me out of pain. I was very nervous of my tooth being touched, but Dr Ford took such care and patience and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure and didn’t feel pain, he even then fashioned my tooth so it looked like nothing had happened!

   I had a great experience at evolve, I was greeted with a wonderful warm welcome from Nicky C at the reception, their friendliness and hospitality set a positive tone for my visit. Richard provided exceptional attentiveness and thoroughness throughout the procedure. His professionalism and warm demeanour made me feel very comfortable and confident in the process.

   I rather nervously came to Evolve several years ago having not visited a dentist in a very long time, with teeth and gums in a sorry state. Following an initial few sessions where I was able to request numbing, I eased into a consistent routine of check-ups and hygienist visits, resulting in teeth of which I am no longer ashamed. Visiting the dentist holds no trepidation for me now; the levels of care and treatment at Evolve are excellent, and the pleasant surroundings make the experience that little bit more comfortable.

   I had dentures made at Evolve Dentistry in Portishead by Mike and his assistant Jess, and I honestly cannot thank them enough. Mike is truly special. He’s refreshingly honest and straight-talking – no sugar-coating, no false promises – just clear and direct about what he was going to do and what to expect. I found that honesty so reassuring. And then there’s Jess, who is warm, calming and so supportive throughout. Together they make the perfect team: Mike’s skill and precision, with Jess’s kindness and care. They really are phenomenal at what they do. The change has been incredible. I underestimated just how good the result would be. My new smile has given me a whole new sense of confidence. I’m 58, and I was so worried dentures would look obvious or make me look older – but it’s been the complete opposite. People kept saying I looked brighter, like I’d been on holiday, without realising it was my smile. They couldn’t tell at all that I had dentures, which is amazing. I deliberately waited before writing this review, to be sure it wasn’t just the excitement of something new. But even after time has passed, I’m still blown away. Yes, some foods feel a bit different (crisps, for example), but you adapt quickly, and the positives far outweigh any small changes. The whole process was painless – I never once needed a painkiller. My gums have healed beautifully, and in time I may need a small adjustment, but that’s all part of the journey. Most importantly, this has changed how I feel about myself. With my first grandchild on the way, I can’t wait to smile proudly in photos instead of hiding from the camera. From the receptionist who greeted me, to Julie my wellbeing person, and especially Mike and Jess – thank you for the phenomenal job you’ve done. You’ve not just given me new teeth, you’ve given me back my smile and my confidence.

   Such a lovely dentist practice. Since switching from a public dentist, I have found the team at Evolve to be more welcoming and more interested in the care of your teeth. They listen and take on board your needs/concerns. Recently, I had bioclear bonding done and I am so happy with the results. Would definitely recommend this practice!

   I moved to Evolve dentistry when I moved into the area some years ago now, from day one the patient care has been first class from everyone. I have had the pleasure of dealing with many of the team and nothing is too much trouble and they are all extremely friendly. I have had my some serious pain from different teeth over time and they have always sorted every issue quickly and given me sound advice and after care. I can’t recommend them enough as a top class practice thank you team evolve particularly Carol, Yasmin and Hannah .

   Having held a life long fear of the dentists and leaving behind the only one I'd ever felt comfortable with when i moved to Bristol, I was very nervous about my first appointment at Evolve - but, I had no need to be!! From the moment you walk through the door all of the staff you meet are incredibly welcoming. Yasmin the dentist is fabulous - warm, friendly, reassuring - needed for nervous patients like myself. She is also skilled, and I am very pleased with the work she has done :) I have no qualms or fears about going for my standard 6 monthly appointment now. Their dental plan is very good value for money too! Definitely recommend Evolve for nervous and non-nervous people alike.

   Such a lovely, clean, friendly and professional dental surgery. I always feel so well looked after by Yasmin and the entire practice staff. I used to become really nervous before dental appointments, but moving to Evolve has been the best decision for me and my teeth. The staff are lovely and their attention to detail is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble to do or explain. Even the mouth rinse tastes good! I highly recommend them. Keep up the good work.
