   What a treasure this place is! The location is unparalleled, the space is incredibly cool, and the hosts rock (they're immensely responsive and accommodating). On our honeymoon, my husband and I stayed at the Witchery, which is a stone's throw up the road, and which costs several times as much, but I got more praise for finding this place from my husband, who says it's categorically better! I'd readily recommend this place to my friends. Great stay.

   This has become our ideal place to stay when visiting Edinburgh. We booked in Aug 2020 and again in Dec 2021. It is the perfect size for our family of three and in a great location for sightseeing, only a few minutes walk from the Castle! It has the most charming interior (and even better since a refurbishment during Spring/Summer 2021). The owners, Brian and Christine keep it in excellent order, it's very clean and well equipped and they are quick to respond to any questions. They even leave you a bowl of chocolate bars on arrival (greatly appreciated by my young son). We will certainly be booking again in the future.

   My partner and I stayed here for Christmas and had a wonderful time - The Castle Snug is just that - a snug little base to explore the city from. The location is amazing and we found it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go around Edinburgh. The flat has had a recent refurb and has been done to a really nice spec. Everything is comfortable and has been done to a high standard. Finally, a word about the owners - amazing! We had to move our booking due to Covid restrictions and they were really helpful with this, nothing was too much trouble and we always had the feeling that they genuinely cared about our stay. Would happily stay again.

   This was our first time to Edinburgh. The Castle Snug was like a home away from home. Perfect for us. Extremely clean and comfortable. Thank you Brian and Christine! You could not ask for a better location. We were minutes from the castle and right off the royal mile. You really do feel like you are staying in your own private castle. We will definitely be back to Edinburgh and when we return, we'll be staying at Castle Snug!

   Adorable place!! Incredible location just a few steps from the Royal Mile. The hosts were great to work with and the Snug was very comfortable. Studio with a loft, a bed both below and in the loft deck. Full bath and kitchen. The old world styling in this historical building were to-die-for!! So fun!!
