Found this wee gem of a place when looking for a particular album, website showed last one and bought it to click and collect, all very efficient including personalised update to advise we could pick up. Great experience, highly recommend
I’d searched everywhere for a limited edition Jamiroquai vinyl and it was sold out everywhere except here! I ordered online and the record was quickly dispatched and delivered in pristine condition within just a few days. I was really impressed and will definitely use Stripe Joint Records again!
Really good online service. I pre ordered a record online but when it came to release day, they were let down by the record company and didn’t have the issue I ordered. Not wanting me to miss release date, they sent me an upgraded signed version (because I didn’t respond to the email asking me in time) not wanting me to miss the release date. Unfortunately, I happened to already have this other version so I asked for the green one, but they explained they didn’t have it but I could have a refund or a different one I didn’t have as I paid for it which was extremely kind of them and I’m very grateful. Postage and communication was super quick and effective, highly recommended. Thanks guys.
It may be small, but it is mighty. I now buy about 90% of all my vinyl from Paul and the Team at Strip Joint Records. Their social media and online presence is superb, and their prices extremely competitive. However it is the personal service and time they take to get to know you and being on the look out for future releases which match your tastes that sets them apart.
I’ve followed Strip Joint Records on Instagram for ages, but only just managed to visit in person on a recent trip to Glasgow. It’s tucked away in a corner of the Strip Joint bar and the selection of vinyl on offer is pretty great. All sorted by genre, and really competitively priced. Well worth a visit for anyone in the area, and they sell online too. So even if you can’t visit, you can buy their great selection through their website. One of my favourite places in Glasgow.
First of all staff are incredibly helpful and polite. Postal charges are a lot cheaper than other online sites and really good packaging. Ordered a record late on Tuesday afternoon and was with me the next day - incredibly impressed and would recommend 100%
I have not yet been inside the shop, but I have ordered directly online from them and I have always had a rapid and great response. Always kept me in the loop on pre-orders and when arrived packed safely and delivered quickly. I would highly recommend them and can’t wait for one these days to eventually pop in.
I booked Strip Joint for myself and my 13 year old daughter before the My Chemical Romance gig in Glasgow. What a great vibe! I love how they play the music of the bands playing at Hydro, they also streamed footage of them throughout the venue. We particularly loved the MCR inspired special on the menu (nice touch!). Service was outstanding from the second we walked in until we left. Staff are friendly & attentive. We ordered the 2 for 1 pizzas, they were amazing and great value for money. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience x
