   I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before using Bindmans LLP’s crime department. We genuinely believed we were in capable hands, but the experience has been extremely disappointing and distressing. There has been absolutely no duty of care shown towards a vulnerable adult. Between October and June, we were charged almost £20,000 — with over £14,000 of that between January and June alone — yet much of the promised work was never completed. We were even billed for endless emails chasing updates, asking questions, and giving instructions that were mostly ignored. We were left in a worse position than when we started and have now had to hire a new firm to fix the damage and continue the work that Bindmans should have handled properly. When we raised our concerns with Katie Wheatley, the partner supposedly overseeing the case, she didn’t even have the courtesy to respond or return calls. Instead, the case was left with Nicholas Jennaway, whose approach was completely disengaged and careless. He showed little understanding of the matter or effort to familiarise himself with the details when it was transferred to him. We’ve asked for a refund given the poor service and lack of progress, but Bindmans continue to justify their charges. We are now pursuing the matter through the Legal Ombudsman and SRA. In my opinion, Bindmans LLP do not deserve their reputation as a Tier 1 firm. The service we received was unprofessional, negligent, and showed a complete lack of care or accountability.

   Would give 0 stars if possible. States on the website they specialize in "Criminal Records, DBS certificates and Police Information". Called up to discussed a DBS disclosure response, got passed around and none of them had heard of them doing that before. Wanted to charge for a callback to discuss further. Wasn't fulfilled with any hope at all speaking to this company.

   They appear to be frightened to take a case on that exposes a judge as corrupt notwithstanding having been provided evidence of backdated orders. Gutless which is wholly contrary to how they market themselves

   I had the worst experience with the family law dept. They lack knowledge, experience and the responsibility and accountability required to help people through the most difficult phases of their lives. Their conduct has been destructive and that is an understatement. None has the seriousness to take even one bit of accountability for their fatal mistakes or cares about the repercussions of their actions or inactions on your case. I missed a court deadline because they never notified me about it, even though I paid for a partner and a trainee solicitor to be present at the hearing. When I asked them to send me the relevant documentation, they told me that this is just a deadline imposed by the other side!! They overcharged me, they ignored my complaints, they made mistakes in documents submitted to the court, and most recently I found out that they thought they made an application to court on my behalf and they even told the court and my barrister that they did when it turns out 15 months later that application was never submitted. My case was managed by a Partner, a solicitor and a trainee solicitor. They are basically a bunch of amateurs who are unable to even follow up on simple administrative matters. I had the tragic misfortune to have them as my solicitors for two years and so I speak from very painful experience that I will be paying for the rest of my life. If you want to have a good chance in your proceedings avoid them at all costs!

   Hi, I have been with bindmans for 1 year now and they still haven’t done a single thing for me they have taken my kindness for the weakness and have applied for legal aid and now I can’t get another solicitor company to deal with my housing situation because of this company I advice no one to use them they are useless and are crooks and thiefs and the people who work for them are not trained to deal with people don’t use them. The manager called Paul brings ain’t good at communicating with people . The lady that I had also didn’t wanna help me after all she was the lady that I was meant to call up to deal with my case she’s the one making me feel like I was getting somewhere and lying about the whole situation all along I will be sharing this all over the internet eg Instagram Twitter and TikTok and other social media platforms. This company is a scam don’t use them. They have left me in state to deal with the council all on my own.
