   I have used Coram Chambers for many years in regard to both financial and children’s matters. Over the past 3 years I have had the most horrific court case with my ex husband over financially contributing to our son. The case involved many difficult twists and turns and my direct access barrister, Adrian Barnett-Thoung-Holland was simply amazing on many fronts. He was meticulous in the complex movement of assets / funds in financial case, that also included the other party leaving the country at one point. His eye for detail and how the case should run was a huge reassurance for me at a very stressful time. He ensured that I was fully briefed for each hearing, clearly communicated what I needed to do for each and subsequent hearing and kept me calm throughout. Against many odds the case went our way and I put that solely down to Adrian’s handing of the case, getting across to the judge the key points of the case and ensuring that my son’s wellbeing was kept central to the case. I felt he was fighting for my son’s wishes with the same determination I had. I would highly recommend Adrian for any financial matters in court as he is the most dynamic, articulate and determined barrister I have had the pleasure to be represented by. He was also personally supportive as he is well versed on Domestic Abuse and coercive control and ensured I had special measures throughout all the hearings so that I felt safe at all times.

   I had the privilege of having direct access to Mr Richard Beddoe for a number of hearings during my case, many of which were sudden and came up with little time to prepare. I’d never been to court before, so naturally I was extremely nervous, but the direct access process was surprisingly straightforward to set up and Richard’s calm confidence made the whole thing feel far less daunting. The moment he walked in, my anxiety lifted as he brings sheer confidence, calm authority, and a sharp, clear knowledge of the law that immediately reassures you. He’s not just highly professional and focused, he has a brilliant, subtle wit that helps cut through the stress of the courtroom and keeps everything on track. For my final hearing, I then had the pleasure of being represented by Mr Cason Yong, whose ability and professionalism are outstanding, especially as a pupil barrister. You honestly wouldn’t have known; his confidence, clarity and precision when speaking in court were impressive. He is very easy to talk to and explains things in a way that makes sense, which is so important when you’re feeling overwhelmed by a stressful process.    I was represented by Srishti Suresh in family court. The representation she provided was of the highest caliber. I am an attorney myself, yet, I am still giving her the highest rating because she is a natural at what she does. She is a very skilled barrister that is very knowledgeable, quick on her feet and responsive to your needs and requirements. Most importantly, she did not attempt to drag my case on for a long time when she could have easily done so while still being honest.    Where to start! I have been involved in a long protracted drawn out divorce, which without the help of Tosin Oguntayo, I would have seriously lost my sanity and my self-worth. Tosin, supported me constantly throughout the last three years. On hand at all times, and when I was getting agitated, he was always the voice of reason and calm. He is totally realistic, understands what is required and puts you mentally into a real world and not one of raised expectations and false hope.
