Even after moving away from Morningside, I still go to this placeβfor their Borodinsky rye bread and more. Honestly, their supplier makes it even better than the Soviet version. They also have this really cool machine that makes nut butter right in front of youβand you can bring your own jar. No preservatives, just fresh, delicious butter. You choose the nuts (cashew is my favourite). Pair that with their rye bread, and youβve got the perfect breakfast. They sell a variety of cereals and nuts by weight, chocolates, and some Clearspring products, along with occasional local artisan cakes! For such a compact space, itβs really impressive how many top-quality items they manage to stock. Iβm addicted to their Rebel matcha coconut drink so I always treat myself to a few whenever I stop by.

I deliver here most weeks and all the staff are lovely and friendly. The shop has a large range of vegan, sustainable and ethical produce. There are refills available and amazing bread.

Pretty much my go to place now for most of my food shopping. A wide variety of organic products and a great selection of fresh bread, fruit and veg too. If they donβt have it, thereβs a good chance they can order it. Far more variety than any supermarket and priced competitively. This place deserves to be busy. Well done, team.

A Marchmont institution! Loads of vegan, vegetarian and organic groceries, including fill-your-own and dry goods by weight. It's amazing how much the New Leaf have managed to fit into the space, so even if you are looking for something fairly obscure, they're bound to have it.

Excellent, small but very well stocked organic groceries, including fresh eggs, bread, veggies, dairy and substitutes. Also wife range of flour, refills for cleaning products and loose nuts, cereals, dried fruit etc. Its a coop so be nice to them. Expect prices to be higher that your average supermarket as most produce is organic. Friendly staff. It's quite small so if you're in a wheelchair or may be a bit of a struggle but it should be possible as it's on street level and I'm sure staff will help you get in and get stuff off shelves where necessary, but it would be wise to call them in advance and pick a time when it's not busy. They get deliveries on Thursday morning, so Thursday afternoon, Friday and the weekend they'll be best stocked up.

Great organic shop. I go there regularly to fill up containers with cleaning products, lentils, ecc. There is a big variety of products, from sanitary products, to bread, to all types of herbs and spices. It also good for vegan products. I do find it rather expensive, but it's not too bad when it comes to the products you can refill. I love what they are doing and the staff is lovely and super helpful. Especially, they are very patient with me when I forget to weigh the containers etc.!
