   I called yellow cars earlier today and asked could I order a cab to pick me up in an about 2hrs I was only going somewhere that was a 10 minute walk but the weather was bad 30 minutes later the cab driver phones me and says he is outside. I said I did not order a cab until later that day at 2pm He said he could only do the job now because he is the only driver who takes dogs I dont have a dog and I was not travelling with a dog and I never mentioned anything about a dog when I ordered the cab. I said this to the driver that not only was he 2 hours early that also I do not own a dog. The driver then started shouting and swearing at me so eventually I had to put the phone down on him which is something I do not like doing to anyone but he was swearing and shouting at me so I did. The driver then continued to phone me phoning my phone again and again about 6 times I had to leave my phone off the hook in the end. I found the experience frightening and considered calling the police due to the the constant phoning, swearing and shouting. If you are a single woman who needs to order a cab in the Holloway road area I would advise you to never use this cab service due to safety concerns.

   Awful cab service!! Never booking with them again! Booked a cab in advance to get to work as I'm a teacher, so I'm aware of how busy they get. When it was time for my cab to arrive the I phoned to query where the driver was. The operator was so rude and told me that my cab wouldn't be here for another 15 minutes. I explained to the lady I booked it for a particular time because I need to get to work on time. She dismissed me and then told me she would cancel the car. After a back and forth and 2 phone calls the operator cancelled the cab meaning I had to get another car service making me late for work!! Would never book with them again! Terrible service and terrible attitude!!

   Avoid! I pre booked a taxi to pick me up late at night, checked the online confirmation/details earlier in the day and it seemed fine. When the cab didn’t arrive I called Yellow Cars, who told me they had no record of my booking as “our online system doesn’t really work”. This put me in a potentially dangerous situation as a solo female traveler in a rural, relatively remote location. I rarely write reviews, but feel it’s important to make others aware of the risks when using this company.

   The guy turned up be got me to the airport, which is the most important piece. The driver however was probably the most unprofessional bloke I’ve known, even as 3am cab drivers go. He rang me 4 times in the hour leading up to the 3am pick up telling me to come outside. He changed the price a few times, shouted at me in the street (at 3am), called his office, the office changed the price but was only a fiver more…the driver then tried to negotiate again. After that, he did get me there on time but did ditch the idea of wearing a seatbelt. Probably wouldn’t book again.

   Arranged early morning transport to Stansted with the Yellow Cars on Holloway Road. Called as late as the day before, driver confirmed for the desired time, all confirmed via text, received another text informing driver on the way and link to his location. Driver very punctual, friendly and helpful. Very happy with this service.

   Me and my partner booked the cab and had confirmation of pick up at 3:30am. At 3:50 we called the receptionist and discovered that our cab was cancelled and nobody called us. Awful service!

   Pre booked airport taxi. Called 13hrs before landing to double confirm and was told they’d track the flight and be waiting. Get out of arrivals no driver called them to be told driver had a flat and would be 30 mins. ( no text to update me when I landed) 1 hr 20 mins later driver arrives and we have to find him. Partner ask how bad his flat was and driver replied that he never had a flat and did we do last min booking. Not happy. The office is unprofessional not the drivers fault as he got sent after I called.

   Booked a yellow cars minivan to take 4 of us plus luggage from my flat ready to catch a flight Booked more than a week before - yellow cars cancelled via text 5 minutes before they were due to pick us up. Not even the guts to phone customers. Used to use them before covid but would not recommend these days. Avoid if possible…

   Ive been using yellow cars for quite few years. Never left a review cos its always been an average experience - nothing bad, nothing great. However, today i had a loveliest ride with a driver called Andrew. He was very helpful (i had few cases of drinks to carry), interesting to talk and just a genuinely nice person. My best cab experience ever.
