   i got my upper ear pierced and after 6-8 weeks cleaning it 5 times a day.everything was going okay u tok i stopped cleaning it 3 days ago, (i thought it had healed) i have then felt dripping down my neck…. i had a look and seen i have a massive lump at the back of my ear. i went to a professional and they said the earring was far to small and short for my ear so all my blood and infection has been gathered under my skin. i’m so upset, £50 down the drain. im in so much pain

   Edit: Unfortunately the next day, I realised my earrings felt very tight and uncomfortable. I had to visit a proper piercing parlour who said Claire’s really shouldn’t be piercing with a piercing gun and to avoid going here. They also said the earrings they’d given for my thick earlobes were far too short and tight. I had to shell out another £28 for my earrings to be taken out, my holes to be stretched slightly and new studs put in. Having done a bit of research I am not that impressed with the method Claire’s use for piercing and I should’ve researched beforehand. I am amending my score to a 2 star; and those are for the personality of the girl at Claire’s. She really was lovely and I don’t blame her for my piercings as she was just doing what she is told. _______ Got my ears pierced here on the spur of the moment, and the girl who did it (girl with red plaits) was kind and attentive, and happy to chat and explain everything. Price was good (goes from £22 up) and includes aftercare lotion. Any questions will be answered. Probably wouldn’t visit unless I wanted an ear piercing or jewellery as the store is quite tween-oriented, but it’s perfect for that.

   It took a while to get set up as the young lady who pierced my ears was new.i found the manageress was annoyed as this lady was making sure all was well which took time. Suggestion put all equipment in a sealed bag once cleaned and less time wd b taken .more help from manageress wd have improved this service.the young lady who done it was excellent I wd employ her no bother.

   Thoroughly disappointed with the service here. My daughter wanted her ears pierced for her Xmas and I booked online and under my mums name (her gran) to have them done. Ring the shop and spoke with the manager (also a piercer) and informed her of gran bringing her and just wanted to check there were 2 piercers. Asked me to call back when rota was available. Ring back following week and all was ok with a new time slot. Mum took her in to have her ears pierced today to be confronted very rudely by the staff and a point blank refusal to pierce my daughters ears as it HAD to be myself present to sign the waiver (also completed online in advance). Completely wasted trip and an upset daughter Had this been the case of it having to be myself over the phone then I would have been present. But the manager did not state otherwise. Exceptionally disappointed in the service.

   I have had all my peircings done at Clair's (thats 5 in total) and they have all went brilliantly. The staff are very kind and caring and always talk you though the whole process. If getting anywhere in your ears pierced I whould highly recommend this place expecially if you are young or it's your first time getting a peircing
