Superb customer service - quick to reply to emails, and friendly, helpful people waiting to offer assistance. Antos' split antler chews are the only brand I've found which don't fracture or splinter, and genuinely do last.
Over 8 months ago my wife and I contacted Antos customer care regarding two black wire barbs we discovered buried inside one of their dog treats – one barb measuring over 1cm in length – and extremely sharp on both ends. Our dog Nanook (a Pomeranian) who was sick in hospital with a life threatening liver condition at the time came close to eating both of these barbs – luck was on our side and we spotted the barbs before any damage was done, but they most certainly would have killed him. Antos customer care were surprisingly unmoved by the photographic evidence we sent them and were blasé about the dangers they posed to my dog. We didn’t so much get a message of we’re sorry to hear your dog isn’t well – very much expected from a company that produces dog products. Instead we received a message reading: We do receive hoax complaints from time to time from people simply looking for free stock for their dogs. Antos begrudgingly said they would investigate this matter, but has failed to respond to our emails since December 2015. In the photographic evidence we sent Antos 7 months ago you can clearly see the pieces of metal (one still embedded into the product). It’s very clear it’s an Antos product, there’s in fact no doubt. Antos has decided to sweep this issue under the carpet, offered no word of an apology, or accepted responsibility. They have taken no measures to recall any of their products, potentially putting thousands of pets’ lives in danger. In February this year Mars announced an international recall of chocolate bars from 55 countries after one customer found a piece of plastic in a Snickers bar. This was a voluntary measure and they put the safety of their customers first. Bravo Mars.
