I have a home filled with little projects that I have lacked the confidence to tackle. Caroline is an excellent teacher and really understands how to explain things clearly. I now feel ready to dust off my drill and start having a go. I highly recommend these DIY courses and I will be signing up for the plumbing ones in the new year. If you are wondering if you should do one of the courses, stop dithering and book yourself in. You will learn way more than you even hope for.

I've now completed both DIY Nailing It and the DIY Next Steps courses and wouldn't hesitate to recommend both - the course content and delivery are both excellent. Caroline is very thorough and covers absolutely everything you need to consider - this includes safety, the type of environment you'll be working in , what tools to use. You even get the chance to try out different makes and weights e.g. of drill drivers and hammers. Lots of tips and techniques are given out including common pitfalls. The course length is perfect, allowing plenty of time for questions. This really is a first class offering.

I had such a fantastic experience on this DIY course. Caroline is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. She creates a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and trying new skills. Her teaching style is clear, supportive, and full of useful tips that you can actually use at home. I left feeling confident and inspired. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn DIY in a fun and encouraging setting!

I had a two hour, very enjoyable, drilling course this morning with Caroline and one other learner. I learnt SO much and it has certainly given me confidence to attempt projects at home. Caroline is a fantastic teacher. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing her skills. I would imagine all her courses are equally interesting and valuable. In fact I’d like to sign up for another! Highly recommended. Thank you very much.

I had the most wonderful time at my first bePractical DIY Workshop. Caroline is the most amazing teacher. She explains things thoroughly and is so encouraging. I learnt so many small things that demystify various DIY jobs. I never thought that hammers could come in more than one piece or that you could use a saw to draw a line at 90 degrees. Obvious when you are told! We had such fun learning to use a saw, an electric drill and a hammer properly and confidently. I cannot wait to go on my next course and learn some more. I have been telling all my friends about this amazing place.
