Whilst out doing a spot of shopping up yate shopping centre, I had the sudden urge to curl out a walnut whip. It came on quick and strong and I worried I would not make it home in time before giving my boxers more skid marks than brandshatch. In a haste I rushed into marks and Spencer in the hope of finding a toilet. At the back of the store is where I found the room containing the white throne! The temperature inside was just right, and as I sat there was no sudden coldness waiting which in turn would of sent my dangley bits back up inside. The comfort was just bliss! So much better than the commoners shop that is tesco... The only issue I had was that maybe the toilet paper could of been a bit more upper class. One accidental push a bit harder than normal and my finger was coated in a nasty smelling chocolate spread!

Many thanks to Tash and Lynette for their assistance with our M&S vouchers at the Yate branch on Thursday last. Their patience and diligence was above and beyond.

Its an M&S foodhall, the food is excellent quality, its slightly more expensive but if you want the quality you have to pay slightly more

We were very impressed with how Billy helped a disabled customer this morning. He took time and didn't rush her, he was kind, helpful, respectful and very polite, a model employee in the Yate store.

We don't normally go to marks and Spencer to do our weekly shop, but thought we would to have a change, found the staff to be very helpful and cheerful, the shop itself was clean and well laid out, and there was a lovely smell of freshly baked bread, the pricing was very reasonable as was the selection of food and some very good offers. We will be going there a lot more often from now on.

Usual good selection of quality M&S foods but the branch didn't appear to be well organised. Queues were not dealt with promptly. One member of staff did go out of their way to help us and later opened a till which we were able to use.

Service was good, quick and easy, choice of food quite simple, coffee was really good ( with an extra shot ). Tho only let down, small area to eat at a four place table, only seemed to be for couples. We had the only four place table for three of us and it was full on a Saturday midday. I suppose that's a good sign as it's popular and people must like it. Clean as well and staff clearing and cleaning which I think is important for new customers to see. Ideal place for quick drink and snack would visit again...

Had a lovely lunch & did a bit of a shop. Disappointed when I used the disabled toilet. Needed to wipe the toilet seat, and the hand rail, which I need to use, was filthy. It was encrusted, so hadn't been cleaned properly for a while. Yuk! Toilet bowl was not up to standard either. Not what I expect from an M & S toilet.

I don't go there often mostly because there are lilies near the door and I am allergic to them, also, acknowledging the food is good quality it is mostly above my budget. However I really like the Swiss rolls as a treat really tasty and the bread is good.
