    went to Sainsbury’s to buy a yummy apple and raspberry donut, came home to eat it…it was Custard! Not only was this extremely disappointing but a massive violation of health and safety. The two donuts I purchased (both custard) were in the basket with the other Apple and raspberry donuts, and the sign said apple and raspberry…not custard! Very sad.

    The women in the shop behind the counter is absolutely rude went to give her my lottery ticket and snatched it out my hand with out saying hi. I told her she was rude and said I was rude highly recommend to stay away from this shop

    Went in at 13:45 to collect on a lottery ticket. Waited patiently whilst the team member finished her conversation with another colleague, no queue, no acknowledgement of my existence. Took my ticket, huffed and then threw it in the side, huffed some more and complained it was wet…it has just come from wallet. Then proceeded to huff some more and then Slammed the draw shut. Went to Tesco over the road, much better.

    Just terrible…3 forms of ID and they won’t accept my credit card because the signature on the back is smeared.

    Basically I think 2 two days ago I was with my friends with our small children and babies. We wanted to buy some food. But there was one security guard, his name is Khald I think, he was standing at door . He didn’t let us come into the shop with our small children and babies because one of our child had very small child bike. He totally refused us to bring that bike into shop but we couldn’t leave our children outside with bike. Next day I asked the manager if he had any problem with small kid bike and the manager said no.

    Current Security guard has work at other branches and followed me around for no apparent reason. The shop is good but I do dread going in when this particular guard is on duty as they do give me a second glance even when I am paying at the check out?

    Doesn't look very big from the outside but it's actually a decent size. Well stocked and a good selection of vegan food. Great location, right in the centre of Bath.

    Whilst the staff that they do have are very nice and approachable, I find it so frustrating that Sainsbury's appear to have taken their "live well for less" slogan and are applying it to their staffing levels as well. I cannot recall a time in recent memory where they have actually had a member of staff assigned to self-service checkouts. This means that when I have been purchasing an item that required approval, or if I have encountered an issue during my transaction then I have had to wait whilst they ring the bell to summon a member of staff to the checkouts. In the meantime it has on occasions been quicker to abandon the self-service checkout and instead join the queue for the (usually one or two) real checkouts that they have in operation. For me, this is a frustration of both of the Sainsbury's Local branches in Bath, hence the fact that both branches have similar reviews from myself!
