   Handy shop for basic essentials. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Reason for 4 stars is the music that blares forth. I restrict going there now as I find it intolerable. Please Tesco, turn it down or preferably off altogether. It must be unbearable for some people with autism.

   Terrible service, went to pick a parcel, they said it’s gone missing. Couple minutes later my husband went to pick it up and suddenly the staff found the parcel. I’m foreigner and I often get bad service or even rejected when they see my ID and foreign name and then my husband comes by and fixes it all as he’s a white English male. Enough from the great British hospitality!!!

   I live close to Tesco express bath and I am a regular customer. I have been issued a parking charge which is unfair as I have never parked there for 6 hours. I tried calling the Tesco helpline service which is really unhelpful as they simply ask to appeal the horizon parking service and see. It is only because I visit Tesco express that I go to that car park. This is really putting me off Tesco's now. Horrible way to treat customers. Edited: I had to appeal to the horizon parking and they have acknowledged there has been a mistake and have cancelled the parking charge. While I am relieved with this, this does not take away all the stress it has caused me. I am still going to be cautious of going to Tesco's:(

   I visited here a few months ago and it was a great experience. Staff seemed to be actually taking the situation seriously, with someone handing out clean baskets and managing numbers in store. Unfortunately, this all seems to have gone out of the window. On a more recent visit I was surprised to see at least 25% of adult customers not wearing masks. I appreciate some people can't wear masks for health reasons, but this seemed like a very high number of people without masks and no-one was making any attempt to monitor this. There was no person at door checking or limiting customer numbers, many people were not socially distancing, the one-way system has been thrown to the wayside, and the store seemed chronically understaffed. Baskets are just circulated, and there's a sad little abandoned sanitizing station. The only positive note was that all the staff appeared to be wearing masks. If you value your health, I'd recommend shopping elsewhere.

   The parking restrictions are unbelievable. They extort you on parking. They took 3 weeks to send a parking fine and then they sent me a load all at once. I only park there during late hours when its basically empty. I always shop there. I wouldnt expect this kind of dirty tactic from such a prominent brand. Shop somewhere else where they treat you with fairness. Never shopping at tesco's ever again! EDIT: i called the tesco parking helpline and they were really understanding. They agreed to waiver the charges provided i didn't do it again.
