Loved the convenience.i needed stuff urgently on the 1st ,and they were available open,that was awesome.
Trowbridge Sainsburys is a decent supermarket, good choice and prices are not too bad for what I buy. Staff are mostly friendly; excepting that is apart from the shortish, stocky, dark haired chap with the silly look on his face who fills shelves; having been pushed out of the way a few times by him in the past as he's carrying a box of goods, while mumbling to himself about God knows what, so he can stand where I am. Although he doesn't appear to be actually shelf filling. I can see he's not quite the ticket, but just to employ him to give him a job, what's the point if he's not actually doing much apart from just annoying customers.
A trip up the spire is a must. Amazing views, George was an excellent guide. Needs to get booked in advance
I’ve never had a bad experience at Sainsbury’s Trowbridge, which is impressive in itself. Staff always friendly and helpful with plenty of choice and reasonable prices to boot. The only issue I have is having to show your receipt to the machine in order to get out of the building. I guess this is a sign of the times, and for this particular location. All good overall, and definitely an easy option for a shop in Trowbridge.
Good selection of products but lack of humans at the tills and the self scan is rubbish - you constantly get a red light where the scales can’t weigh properly. V annoying. Much quicker to have a human scanner. Prefer Lidl with no self scan.
Well laid out, clean, staff friendly had most of what I went in for. Only one till open? Seems everyone is being encouraged to use the self service tills. Bit of a queue there, queue at the one checkout and a long line of unmanned tills. Doesn't seem the focus is on the customer but more money saving.
It's good, pity they have reintroduced coin tokens to trolleys as I no longer carry cash around, so it stops me from using them.
This shop is going downhill fast. Security outside at all hours, and staff, not all but some, are just rude. I genuinely think twice about going there now.
Staff are helpful, it's only security that sometimes let's them down, certain guards anyway.if you dont look a certain way security take an instant dislike and jump to assumptions about you, follow you around, make you feel like a criminal, and when other shoppers see security watching and following you like that then everybody jumps to the wrong conclusion and the whole situation makes you feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome! Sainsburys aren't the only shop security that have done this to me but it does happen fairly regularly here when a certain security worker is working. Apart from this I can't really complain. The only other small complaint I have is that I can't purchase Tesco mobile top up vouchers here, only a slight inconvenience but a valid one I feel
Had everything I needed. Lovely autumn selection of clothing at the moment. Friendly staff. Clean toilets. Good variety on food. Store was clean and tidy. Car park had spaces but was a bit busy. Lovely flower selection. Little bit cold in the fridge isles but to be expected. Good range of fresh bread down at the bakery within the store.
