Shout-out to Charlotte. Just before 4pm on a Saturday afternoon and it's busy at the self-service checkouts. I was using my own bag and pressed continue when promoted. Of course, I then had to wait for my bag to be verified. Charlotte was the only person covering two busy areas, approached me with a smile and was very polite.
This Tesco is fairly big and has almost everything you need for your daily shopping. The layout is easy to navigate, and it’s convenient for quick stops or regular weekly purchases.
Staff too busy chatting to assist when self-service checkout failed. Never recognises 'own bags' so an assistant is always required. Scanning technology is horrendously outdated - takes seconds to process each item adding to general frustration.
Great shopping experience every time I go in. All staff members are very kind and helpful, excellent variety of stock and very good quality too. Went in earlier on today and the lady (Anne) working one of the tills was very kind, provided amazing customer service (offering bags and checking if everything was satisfactory) and she showed an interest in all customers. It can obviously become quite repetitive talking to customers, but Anne seems more than happy to do so!
My favourite supermarket, good selections, reasonable prices and friendly/helpful staff. The store is clean and tidy. Car park is excellent.
They have a great range of products, many 'own brands, choices. Staff are really friendly and seem to know where everything is. I shop here regularly so I also gain from using a Tesco card, wouldn't go anywhere else.
I went to Tesco goldenhill to purchase a Euro ticket at 7:10pm on Friday.But there no staff at the till, so I ask the woman in charge? she said "we have no staff as he is in the car park,he be back in twenty minutes!" Which was no good to me or another customer,as the draw cuts off time is at 730pm!
Great place to go to to do your weekly shopping. Great food and drink at great prices.
