Don’t come here for your parcels. Rude staff. They get paid to be an InPost drop off point so I’m confused as to why they hate people dropping off/picking up parcels. I got confused on the number of parcels I had so I misspoke and the staff member berated me about it and basically told me off like a child also repeating “next time make sure…”. I replied saying “I won’t come here next time” then he started throwing my parcels down on the counter after scanning. Weird reaction and behaviour. Every time I come here they are so rude

Very helpful with inpost parcels and good choice of products. If your dropping off or collecting parcels please buy something to help keep the shop in business-it's incredibly difficult to be an independent right now.

Absolutely the worst shop with the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The staff are consistently rude, dismissive, and show no respect to customers who are collecting parcels. Every single time I’ve gone to collect a parcel, they’ve made me wait unnecessarily while serving everyone else first, even letting people skip the queue just because they are shopping and not collecting parcels. The first time I went there, and every time since, I’ve been met with the same disgusting attitude. It’s horrendous how they handle deliveries and collections completely unprofessional. The shop itself is unpleasant, and it even smells bad. I would highly NOT recommend this place to anyone. Clifton Minimarket is truly the worst of the worst, and I honestly hope it closes down!

Sadly had a very negative experience. Dropped off a few Vinted items, and the server wouldn't let me do each item separately to avoid confusion. He printed out the labels all at once, and then told me which one correlated to what instead. They've all just come back as incorrect, and people now have messaged me to tell me they have the wrong packages. I've lost a lot of money because of this.

If you live in Bristol or you're ever near Clifton, you have to check out Clifton Mini Market. It's honestly the best corner shop I’ve ever been to – and I’m not just saying that. It’s one of those rare places that somehow has everything you need, all packed into a small, tidy space, and run by genuinely lovely people. First off, the range of stock is amazing. Whether I’m popping in for essentials like milk and bread, grabbing a snack, or even looking for that one random ingredient I forgot from the supermarket – they always seem to have it. And somehow, despite being a small shop, it never feels cramped or chaotic. Everything is easy to find and well organised. The prices are really fair too – not like those corner shops that charge double just because they can. Plus, they’ve got loads of local produce, good deals, and some little surprises like fresh fruit or unique drinks you don’t always see in the big stores. But honestly, what makes this place truly special is the service. The staff are always friendly, polite, and genuinely welcoming. They remember faces, ask how your day is going, and create that real neighbourhood feel that’s hard to come by these days. It’s the kind of shop where you don’t just run errands – you actually enjoy going in. Clifton Mini Market isn’t just convenient – it’s reliable, friendly, and at the heart of the community. Whether you live nearby or you’re just passing through, you’ll quickly understand why so many people swear by this little gem. Support local, skip the queues at the supermarket, and shop here instead – you won’t regret it!

Rory was there + plus Juliet Collins review is absolutely mental. She’s keeping a wide berth from Clifton mini market, while I will be keeping a wide berth from her.

Astoundingly rude service. I had an email telling me my Yodel parcel to collect from the shop. Although they keep the order for up to 10 days, I received a reminder after two days that it was still waiting for collection. I was aware that the shop isn't very big, and thought it might be overwhelmed with parcels after Black Friday, so although I was busy and it wasn't particularly convenient I made a special trip (a mile each way on foot) to collect the parcel. I even opened the email before entering the shop, so it was all ready and the staff wouldn't have to wait. The woman scanned the barcode Yodel had sent me, but told me it didn't work and that it was "the wrong barcode". I said it was the only one they'd sent me and the only parcel I had to collect, so I wasn't sure what I could do. She simply repeated, bluntly, that it was the wrong code. As she walked away from the counter she said, over her shoulder "When you've found the right code let me know, as I have plenty to do". I was gobsmacked. I've no idea what made her think it was acceptable to talk to a customer like that. I checked the original collection email from Yodel and the barcode was exactly the same. I called out "Excuse me" and a different member of staff appeared. The code didn't work for him either, but he looked through the small pile of parcels behind the counter (something his colleague hadn't even considered doing), and sure enough, there it was. He said with a shrug that sometimes the barcodes don't work. The fact that this is clearly a known issue makes his colleague's rudeness all the more extraordinary. So I won't be using Clifton Mini Market again, either for click and collect or for purchases from the shop and I'd suggest that anyone who doesn't want to risk being subjected to the rudeness of the female member of staff gives it a wide berth. There are plenty of other shops in the area.
