They fixed our PC quickly and at a fair price ,,,,no problems at all ...Im a great believer in using local small firms . I would certainly recommend them . We have used the company twice with no issues . Their prices are comparable with all the other computer outfits .
Been using Technical Progress for many years, they offer a great service at very reasonable costs. sorted us out with some good Windows 7 laptops with serial ports for industrial use. A service not available many places these days.
Got computer for my sons xmas within 10 days of use returned for repair supposedly fixed but broke down again within a couple of weeks so back to them again fobbed off for weeks (waiting on parts from china!!), then informed us mòtherboard has gone so require £80 to replace. Item was not fit for purpose and they have had possession of computer for longer than i have. Wont return it because they are in dispute with amazon. Their excuse now is that its out of warranty. However when problem fiŕst started it was well within the warranty period and is an on going problem. As ì said item not fit for purpose as per consumer act.
I concur with this person, after hitting up my contacts we discovered that he is making fake reviews in order to boost his business. Mr Low's real net worth as stated in the 2016 annual report stated that Technical progress's net worth is £4, with sales dropping harshly in the last three years. Placed an order with them on the 4th July, was supposed to come today on the 23rd. But got nothing after waiting in all day, amazon have now launched an internal investigation into the matter and I have warned them that he is using fake reviews. So hopefully they will shut this seller down. The guy has cost me however, a months worth of revenue due to this. And therefore will be taking him to court and filling legal forms against him for damages. It is utterly dispicable that a person is doing this and coning people out of money. Needless to say, he isn't going to be able to opperate in this way much longer. We are annonymous, we are legion. We do not forgive, we do not forget.
I bought 5 computers from this guy and they are REALLY bad, they were advertised as refurbished with cosmetic marks but 2 of the monitors have dark blotches covering a quarter of the screen rendering them useless, 3 of the base units have deep gauges on the front and top. And one of them is dead, he refused to refund or replace - BEWARE...
