    Brilliant experience purchasing at this store. I was welcomed by Ellie upon my first visit who patiently talked me through the models I was interested in from both Tag Heuer and Tudor. Her product knowledge and passion is second to none. I’m a slow rational when it comes to purchasing so after a third visit to the store today and much email correspondence between Ellie & I, I finally purchased my new Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT. I felt looked after from beginning to end. A particularly nice touch was the gift purchased by the store for my Wife & I’s new born child. Great store and staff, can’t recommend enough.

    I ordered a Breitling watch from Goldsmiths as a gift for my nephew to wear to his father’s funeral. It was a significant, emotional purchase—this was the watch his father had planned to buy before he passed away. I paid for next-day delivery on a Thursday, expecting it to arrive in time for the funeral the following Wednesday. Despite selecting next-day delivery and being assured the item had been dispatched, there were multiple failures in communication, dispatch delays, and a complete lack of tracking transparency. The showroom ignored repeated emails clearly stressing the urgency of the order and still chose a slower delivery method instead of the next-day service I had paid for. Even after promising it had been sent to head office, the showroom did not actually dispatch the watch until several days later, and I never received confirmation or a tracking number to verify the status. A replacement was eventually arranged, but even that arrived two days after the funeral. So the gift, meant for a once-in-a-lifetime moment of remembrance, never served its purpose. Throughout the process, I had to chase updates, stress urgency repeatedly, and deal with vague or conflicting information from customer service. Though I received apologies and was offered a £50 gift card as a gesture of goodwill, this compensation has still not been sent to me at the time of writing this review. Goldsmiths markets itself as a premium retailer, but this experience showed a lack of care, consistency, and ownership—especially when it truly mattered. I will be thinking carefully before shopping here again, and I hope they take this review as a reminder that premium service isn’t just about products—it’s about reliability, trust, and being there for your customers when it counts most.
