Lovely place Felt like a blast from the past but updated Plenty of space and such a wonderful time with family
Shocking experience attempting to book 4 days accomodation for myself and my family of 11 people at this venue through Airbnb in Cat’s Castle as well as Cat’s Whiskers next door. I was unable to send messages through the app and therefore contacted Paul directly In order to ask some simple questions regarding accomodation and some negative feedback the properties had had I explained my difficulty with the app and confirmed that I was more than happy for him to message me through the app he refused to do so. Following this request he had someone else (Gemma) tell me that he was unwilling to take our booking. I am totally puzzled as to why he should do this and consider it a sham king way to deal with a potential customer. On reflection, perhaps I have had a lucky escape?
JUST FYI BEWARE I thought it was a castle to look as an attraction when I typed it in Google... it wasn't. So don't make the mistake I did by using Google maps for castle. It's not a RUNIES attractions!!!! No offense to the owner of this residence. If I was looking for airbnb I would rent this place in a heartbeat. So airbnb fans it's a beautiful place. This this is a private residence air bnb location. It's rented out. It's not a public place to walk around and take pictures. The guests were kind enough to let me walk around the outside to take a few snapshots.. Posted 07/21/2022

Beautiful place to stay. Plenty of bedrooms. Location is nice and private. Beautiful large bedrooms with a nice fireplace to keep warm. Lovely large kitchen and nice to have washer and dryer. Would highly recommend.
Lovely place, great views, awesome building, only dropped a star because its needs some work (Shower not working, paint peeling, etc)
Lovely little place, great location and good price. Just had a few duty things in the kitchen we had to clean and there were some stains on one of the sofas.
An absolutely wonderful place! None of us wanted to leave; this is more than we could ever ask for in a place to stay. The rooms are large yet very cosy in their décor. We felt very welcome, and we found everything we needed while we were here. Because it's very close to a road, there's a lot of noise from passing traffic during the day; however, this isn't a massive problem during the night as it's not very busy. Food isn't provided, so it is recommended you bring some (although there's some tea, coffee, sugar and UHT milk in the kitchen). I'd very much love to come here again!
