Double checked website to make sure open - Sunday 19 October - long travel to find it shut. What’s the point of a website if staff can’t be bothered to update it?

Disgusting family changing rooms. Strong smell of urine, broken door locks. Obviously not getting cleaned well. Child’s pool area closed but no where is this communicated. Definitely would not recommend or return.

Took my 3 year old to the Waterfront swimming. She had a ball, loved it. I haven't been in the leisure pool for best part of 10 years when I took my older daughter, the pool area is exactly the same, it’s really showing its age and appears quite run down in places, especially the small kids splash pool, I was quite shocked at the state of it. On the way down to the lazy river I noticed blood on the ground from someone who had cut themselves, told the lifeguard who confirmed someone was at first aid, and then informed me the blood would be cleaned up later. There were blood spots right along a 5-6 meter bit of walkway so wasn’t just a small bit. I decided at that point we were coming out. The Changing area is still as it was 10 years ago also, which wasn’t great then. Staff were all nice but I won’t be back in a rush.

This ice rink is the worst I've ever skated in. I don't know how the Health and Safety Executive ever passed it fit for public use. I have been in most of the ice rinks in Scotland and this one is truly by far the worst. When I was there skating at a public session there was 7 coaches trying to teach figure skating all at the same time. Letting their trainees practice Camel spins in any direction, woe betide any kids in the way, this is a small rink too. Staff would randomly walk over the ice with shoes on to get to the DJ booth for no apparent reason, I seen this at least 5 times. Ice wardens were climbing up on the barriers at the windows and sitting with there feet at head height, blades out. I did report this. Also the design of the rink is dangerous bars sticking out with no end caps. I'd be happy for any managerial staff to get in touch for a chat. All in all I will never be back.

Good skating rink, you could rent skaters and support for kids, very beautiful view on the river and hills. Reasonable price. A bit cool if you wait for your kids, but there are places to sit.

Loved this pool. Ideal if you have small kids, water is warm and it's a great family activity.

Descent gym with fairly up to date machines and choice with friendly accommodating staff. Downside is the swimming pool itself is to cold as is the jacuzzi or as they may say cold water spa eitherway it used to be warmer. Steam room is a hit or miss being that sometimes it's warm with steam and sometimes not and smells a touch.. water machine has been updated so no cup system anymore, has the fountain and the option to fill a bottle so all good.

Learning to play Curling here. In daylight, wonderful views of the Clyde Estuary from the big windows. This is a brilliant place to go for Curling. It also has a great gym. I'm going back there as often as I can, which will be every week!
