1. Just Athought ★☆☆☆☆

   Music was far too loud, couldn’t hear a single word being sung by the support act. It’s didn’t need to be so loud, both bands were playing good music. Real shame! All bar staff advised that returning ‘glasses’ would result in being paid £1 for each glass returned. When doing so, a very rude and arrogant member of the bar staff advised that it was a lie, they do not pay people for returning the glasses. I asked, why the lie? He just shrugged his shoulders and grinned from ear to ear. I don’t understand, why have all the staff guilty of a lie, just say nothing or better still, tell the truth. Doesn’t make sense. Size of venue is perfect but my friends and I won’t be coming back.

   I would never go here again for a concert. Start time advertised as 7pm, they kept us waiting outside in heavy rain for 30 minutes, then we were told we’d have to wait in the rain a further 45mins until the delayed start time of 8pm. It was chaos. No venue staff around, aggressive security. What a disrespectful way to treat people who have paid good money. We left without seeing the gig. Very very unhappy.

   I am a celebrant and did two ceremonies at The Trinity Centre this year,- a wedding and a celebration of life funeral. On both occasions I was really impressed by the way the staff dealt with the ceremony and found it a wonderful place for both of these ceremonies. The use of the stretch tent outside was amazing, and I adored marrying the couple in front of the beautiful stain glass window. Highly recommend.

   The venue was hired for a work conference and we paid for parking on site. We made a slight mistake and mis-paid by £1, we then get multiple threatening letters from carflow who tell us word for word “All the tariff revenue at this site goes to Trinity directly. We solely manage the car park” and “Regarding paying for parking at this venue The Trinity Centre (charity no. 1144770) relies on Pay & Display revenue to maintain the centre, support community activities, and provide affordable space. Not paying the correct tariff deprives the charity of vital funds. Carflow do not take any tariff revenue at this site”. Our appeal was denied. Think it’s pretty unfair to pay for the venue and parking, we overstayed as we ended up helping clear up, we would have happily paid the £1 extra but £100 fine is just ridiculous. Carflow disgusting company with horrendous reviews.

   What a great spot to see a show! Intimate, but with just enough grunge to get raucous. Loved the bar selection as well. Such a good crowd, into the band more than their phones!

   ok venue inside, however my first time coming across 'Overt Security' who ruined a good evening. acted more like hired goons than professional security, very confrontational and heavy handed when not necessary. Understand they have a job to do but there are more professional ways to do it.

   Came here for a gig. The venue itself is an unusual one for a gig but still kind of cool nonetheless. There is parking around the venue which is pay and display. Cool acoustics and sound for the gig and enjoyable evening.
