Broke my monitor, laughed, scammed. I came here to sell my gaming monitor. I paid around 350 for this curved 144hz monitor and was looking to sell it quick. Realistically I was looking for 70-120 for this monitor. I brought it in and this short curly brown haired lady immediately broke it. While it obviously was not on purpose right after realising she had just broke my monitor she went off to her pink haired Co worker and they both laughed like it was a hilarious joke that she just broke my possession. They then said that they could only give me £17? There line of reasoning was "well that's what it would've been worth if it was still in shape." Completely not being able to conceptualise that if she hadn't of broke it and then told me the whopping price of £17 I would of said No because that's ridiculous and would've went on to sell it for more privately. They took that option away from me when they broke it so now I am forced to take 1/20th of the price its worth. So thank you cex kingswood.
Absolutely horrendous. I bought a phone from here in February, all it kept doing is crashing, malfunctioning and had battery charging issues. I hoped this was a one off. So I bought a Huawei P30 pro for £130 2 weeks ago which they claimed to be in great condition. It's beat up all around the edges and the camera doesn't even work (has no focus, just blur) because of a scratch over the lens. I have absolutely no idea who is checking over these phones because it doesn't seem like anyone is, and if they are.. Perhaps they need to stop going out for a lunch time smoke because their head clearly isn't in the game. Who doesn't check the camera when taking in a second hand phone.. Jeez. IT'S A BASIC CHECK GUYS COME ON

Cex is ok if money is tight. they sell and buy second-hand games for PlayStation/xbox/DVD's/ mobile phones and lots of other things. They have a shop in kingswood, yate, Bristol town centre, and lots of other places.
Visited Cex in kingswood and was served by Raven. She is very knowledgeable about the products. Very helpful and great service! She is a credit to Cex Will visit again and highly recommend this store!
Friendly staff, that's where the two star is coming from. I accept some of my trade ins didn't meet their standards. (Think a few were harsh but fair enough). What I wanted to buy with my credit though? They advertised they had sly cooper on ps vita in stock. Turns out they only have the cart and are waiting for the box and artwork - aka faking it. So, I left that idea and tried to spend my credit elsewhere. They couldn't find loco roco 2 despite it being on the shelf. So, I said, ok, I'll have Sonic 2 on Master System - got home, it was a Master System box with the megadrive cart in. All round the worst experience I've had in this store. Up your game lads. I will be back to get that £10 credit back. I really shouldn't have to though.
Lemme tell you sut-em people, CeX Kingswood is the spot! I knew what I wanted, and the team that helped me were great. As always. However… it was that one member of staff that went above and beyond to help me with updating my loyalty details! The gent firstly ensured my purchase was packaged up as best as possible - as they were unable to supply a box for the items - then… took his time in searching their database for my details. Asking security questions and verifying that I was who I said I was. He could have directed me to the website, customer services, anywhere. No! He wanted to ensure that purchase was attached to my account and I would benefit from it in the future! Bosh! People, they may be a chain of stores, but these guys run it like it’s their own! Go support them, show them some love, and they return that in spades! They are a credit to Kingswood. Plus, the manager is a cool-kat too! Thank you CeX Kingswood! I’ll certainly be coming back!!
Shop was extremely clean and organised! Staff were extremely kind and helpful! Purchased a product that was "A" Graded and i can say it feels and looks 100% new, great deal! Might need to wait a little longer at the queue than you would expect, but staff were doing all they could and treated you kind enough to make up for it.
