Worst company I ever dealt with. I just accepted a quote which would start in December, but I found a better option and decided to cancel it. Within the 14 day cooling off period they taken off £40 odd from my deposit which I do not agree with.. my insurance hasn’t been started, and not even sign a monthly pay agreement, so I don’t think that’s fair play. If it was over the 14 days, I would understand. That’s how insurance companies ripping off people! Scam!!
I never thought I’d review car insurance but here we are. To put it bluntly to anyone wanting to know if Greenlight are worth it and recommended, 100% yes. I’ve been with Greenlight for a couple years, and they’ve been nothing short of amazing. Every person on the other end of the phone is super helpful, friendly, and it helps they are actually into cars. They understand why we own what we own and care about us car guys. I have owned many Japanese Imports, including Toyota Crown Estates with the 1JZ, a Toyota Century 5.0 V12 and now my current Toyota Crown Athlete saloon which is pictured. The prices are super good. It’s a super easy process to change your car on your policy too, no more than 10 minutes when I have had to do it. Even if you aren’t able to get a policy I recommend any one into their cars to try Greenlight. These are the only insurance company I trust. Can’t recommend Greenlight enough!
Really good experience dealing with David to renew my policy. Had a better quote from a different company than the offered renewal, shared this with david and he went away and came back, beating the better quote I had by over £100. Really easy to deal with and happy I'm not having to swap insurance companies as getting bored of it.
Wouldn’t even consider another car insurance company. I’ve been with Greenlight’s for the last 15yrs and they have always been great for customer care and service. My renewals have been amazing every year. Highly recommended to all.
Neil was excellent, got me sorted in 5 minutes cheaper then everywhere else. Clearly an enthusiast himself also, so had a great understanding of mods i have and cars in general. So all in all, quick easy and quality service at a great price, what more do you want.

Never has calling a insurance company been so easy ! Friendly staff on the phone and so quick at getting ur document sent out , even adding or changing modifications to my vehicle is so easy and only take about 5 mins max . Can't fault at all
10/10 service from Adam. He went through my quote with me and tried to get me the best price possible. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend GreenLight and Adam to anyone with a modified car, or anyone looking to modify a car throughout the year of insurance with them. They allow you to add any modification at any time free of charge with no admin fee as long as it doesn’t increase power. Even then, he said Power mods are relatively cheap to add on. They also include an optional track day cover, which then extends your policy to the track as well. Seamless customer service, and very short and easy process. Their price was the best around for me even including all of the big name companies. Thanks Adam!
