   The company doesn’t even deserve 1 star! Absolutely appalling company. Since they took over GSI in Gravesend they have not kept their clients up to date on insurance. Considering this company have let down 3 family members from different households and have lost a combined 90 years of loyalty! Will be putting in a complaint to financial ombudsman! Avoid stay clear of this company.

   Been with this company for 2 years and after a month of chasing to add a driver to fleet, I've been told they can't insure us because we've gone from 2 to 1 van (we are about to buy a second van). Our insurance is expiring tomorrow and no-one has been in touch. Communication has been very poor and they don't really care about their customers. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

   I've been with Academy for years - and they're so good I recommended them to my folks - who now use them too. I'm up North and they're down South, so everything is done via the phone and email, but Matt in the Basildon branch has always provided a fantastic service - nothing is ever too much trouble and his responsiveness and communication is first class. Matt is also proactive at renewal time, invariably proposing a better deal. The usual suspect comparison websites might save you a few pounds, but the level of personal service delivered by Matt and the team at Academy more than compensates. Truly a 5 star service.
