The best the staff.l and the location of you are going to use the train Breakfast bored. It is always exactly the same breakfast every day. There is no one different thing from one to another day. So, if you stay 3 or 4 days, the last day, you don't want to eat. This is really bad. Also the bed, we had a double and the matress or something over the mattress was very uncomfortable. You get back pain. And, it is cold, as you can read in other reviews, the rooms are cold. The people cleaning the rooms open the windows and they remain open until you back to the hotel. And there is no heating, so the room is very cold during the night.

I stayed with my family at the Holiday Inn, Bristol, located just 3 minutes away from Temple Mead station. The Hotel position is perfect to visit Bristol and for us it was very convenient to get the bus to the airport the next day. The reception staff was great and very helpful. The room was good, although the decor began to show signs of ageing and the air conditioning can do with a service. The price was good and it included the breakfast which offered a good variety. Overall, a positive experience and a good value for money for 2 people and a toddler.

Enjoyed our stay near temple meads, well within walking distance to the harbourside. We stayed for 2 nights, breakfast was usual standards and staff were helpful when we needed it. With spent alot of time in the harbourside at the museums(wethecurious) and visiting the restaurants. We also visited Cabot Circus but decided to drive round for accessibility reasons.

We chose this hotel due to it's location near Bristol Temple Meads, it is directly in front of it. It is though a well run hotel, friendly staff and we found the rooms clean, great WiFi and although they are a little old, comfortable and cosy. An easy walk to many attractions you can arrive by train or car and walk to SS Great Britain or St Nicholas Markets or the many restaurants and pubs. A really good breakfast and the bar is quite nice also. A great stay.

Excellent location if you want Bristol Temple Meads train station or the Bristol Flyer for the airport. The room we had was good but I found the design of the bathroom not as practical as some other budget hotels. I gave the service 5 stars mainly because the staff were pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was okay however if you arrive in the evening there isn't much choice of a menu available (pizza and toasties) so in future if I return I will check in advance regarding any local restaurants which stay open late.

Nice place, near to train station and city centre. The room was large and clean, the towels have been changed everyday. We had also a nice view on the station. A lot of choice for breakfast, the only problem was the last day, when the coffee in the coffee machine finished and it was not replaced. The rest was really good. There was also a luggage storage: the last day after the check out, we left our luggages there and we came back to take them in the evening. It was so nice.

Nice and comfortable stay, with the price it comes with pretty comfy rooms. It has heating and air conditioning both, so suitable for winter and summer every whether. Staff is polite and friendly. Service is good. I asked for a child cot bed and they quickly arranged it with extra pair of sheets. For breakfast I asked if they have anything vegetarian and they quickly prepared the vegan sausage. Although there is options for cereals, scrambled egg, fruits, bread, croissants and muffins. With some juices. Overall nice comfy stay.

Good location, clean rooms, good breakfast. Let down by noisy and inconsiderate clientele... We stayed 4 nights over Christmas. The location suited us, being close to buses and trains and also walking distance to family. We were allocated an accessible room(which we didn't request) on the back/quiet side of the hotel but which gave us a bit more space. The room was clean and tidy but quite basic. Room to room sound insulation is not great. The bathroom was good, also clean and tidy. The only down side was low water pressure and a shower tray which didn't drain away … The breakfast buffet was pretty good for a budget hotel and the staff were all friendly and helpful. On the downside, of the four nights we stayed we only had one good sleep. On two nights, other guests arriving back in the hotel around 03:00am were very noisy in the corridor, waking us up. On another night the fire alarm went off giving us a brutal wake up at 01:30am. No safety announcements made. We stayed put and it went off after 3-4 minutes. It transpired that guests somewhere in the hotel had been smoking and set the alarm off. Overall the hotel works well and is in a good location.(Maybe also for guests on late night partying...)

We stayed at the hotel for a night as we were attending an award ceremony in Bristol. The room was quite small for what we paid for. The double bed was a actually kind of a large single bed. My husband slept on the floor. Before you say anything, I can tell you we are both slim built. We asked for an extra quilt so that he can sleep on it but we’re told they didn’t have any left. It’s a hotel there should be extra supplies of pillows, sheets, towels, and quilts etc. The ironing board was broken. I had to hold it while my husband ironed his shirt. I told him to ask them for another board. He said they might not have a spare like with everything else. The breakfast was okay. The only good thing about this place are the staff. I couldn’t fault them. Well mannered and pleasant.

If you want a cheap, comfy stay with excellent customer service on the city centre doorstep of Bristol, this is the hotel for you! The red head storm was so energetic, really welcoming and lovely when checking us in. She was super attentive to all the customers, even through busy periods, she looked after us so well. The general manager Dan was also great and made us feel very comfortable! He gave us a free drink for my birthday! It’s the little things! Thanks for an amazing stay :)
